One of the best Indian restaurants in New York, Kiran Palace in Hicksville has become one of my favorite spots for Indian food. The owner was really sweet and welcoming from the moment I walked in, which made the whole experience feel very personal and comfortable. The food was very tasty, with rich flavors and dishes that tasted freshly prepared. Overall, it felt like a place that genuinely cares about both its food and its guests, and I would definitely come back and recommend it to others.

I used to frequent this place years ago. I moved to Queens and haven’t been back in a while. I walked in and the owners remembered my daughter and I. I was greeted with a huge smile and hug. I ate the food and was reminded how good their food is. I had actually stopped eating Indian food because the food where I reside pales in comparison. I will now make it a point to drive out to Hicksville with my friends and family to support this small business. The food is absolutely AMAZING. The price point is good, as well as the service. They aimed to please and they did, as always. I highly recommend giving this place a try, it’s really good!

Kiran Palace has always held a special place in my heart — I used to come here often when I was younger and absolutely loved it. After moving to Queens, I hadn’t been back in years, but recently came to visit and was so thankful to see they’re still open — and still just as amazing as I remembered. The food is flavorful, not overly greasy, and feels genuinely authentic. Service was warm and welcoming. It’s rare to find a spot that holds up after all these years. Highly recommend!

Wish I remembered to take photos but I was enjoying the conversation and food way too much. Went for the lunch buffet with my mom. Fresh naan and pakora was served to the table and then there was the buffet. All of the staff was sweet and welcoming, the owner told me she had even there for 25 years. She also said that every day the buffet has chicken tikka and tikka masala and that the rest of the dishes rotate. There was a goat curry, a paneer dish , a yummy dal, a vegetable I wish I remembered the name of and of course basmati rice. What was best was that the buffet was constantly replenished in small batches. The raita was delicious as well as the rice pudding dessert. I cannot wait to return!

Amazing food and my new favorite Indian restaurant! I’ve never had a dish I didn’t love. The staff make you feel so welcome, like you’re part of the family. The lunch buffet has lots of delicious options, including vegetarian choices. I’ve already become a regular and always look forward to coming back!

If you’re looking for authentic delicious Indian food in Long Island, I highly recommend you check out Kiran Palace. Everything is made fresh and we know this because we did modifications to the food and they didn’t say no to a single modification. Everything came out nice and hot and the food was amazing! The restaurant feels more like a casual, old school Indian restaurant set up. It’s great for big groups or even just a couple.

They start us off with pappadum with 2 chutneys. The cilantro chutney was fresh and had a nice kick to it. The brown chutney was sweet but not overly sweet. For breads, they made us chili naan and wow there was so much chili in the naan - it was perfect for someone like me who loves spicy food. They also made us butter roti and onion kulcha. All the breads tasted really good - they were nice and soft and perfectly cooked. As our mains we got the dal makhani and paneer tikka masala. The paneer tikka masala felt authentic, finally the way a tikka masala should be made. It was the right amount of buttery but also had so much flavor in it. The sauce was more tomato based which also enhances the flavors. There was also so much paneer in it unlike other Indian restaurants where sometimes you struggle to find the protein. The dal makhani was also really nice. It was well cooked with the right firmness to the lentils and kidney beans.

I highly recommend you stop by and get some food authentic Indian food.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I absolutely loved my experience here! The Indian buffet had such a wide variety of dishes—everything was fresh, flavorful, and felt like true family-style dining. The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive, which made the whole meal even better. I also really liked that they have a liquor bar, which made it a perfect spot for both family gatherings and a nice evening out. Highly recommend if you want delicious food, great service, and plenty of options to choose from!

Great, gentle service. Food was outstanding. Spicy isn't really all that hot, but I get it. Chicken was tender (Mango, Korma), not over cooked like we usually end up getting at other Indian places. Anything bakery based (the naan, samosa, the dessert) was flaky and fresh, as if straight from a bakery. Looking forward to going again.

Don’t go for buffet. Ultimate waste of $17. With just only 4 curries they call it a buffet
