The worst food ever.on Saturday We went there for buffet. The food was really old.Everyone got 🤢 sick. Waste of money. Horrible experience.

I ordered chicken biryani. There’s meat more than rice. And the container is not full all the way, it’s halfway!!

This place is absolutely horrendous and overpriced for the food and service (there was no service). There was no water or ice. Half the menu wasn’t even offered as listed. The table had no cutlery or napkins. I had to ask for the menu multiple times and then had to ask to take my order. The drinks were warm and the chicken was uncooked. The service fee was 18% for service that we didn’t receive. The surrounding tables were dirty with other people’s left over food and it didn’t look like they were getting cleaned any time soon. We weren’t even asked for water and finally when we did order water we didn’t get it. Please save your money and go to kababjees instead.

This resturants deserves more than 5 stars honestly. The food is so incredible tastes exactly like Pakistani food. And honestly that hard to find in New York. Their absolutely no words that’s can describe how good their food is! Having a Pakistani Resturant who has a Pakistani chef is rare. And the owner jawab bhai is the sweetest soul you’ll ever meet his hospitality will make you want to go back everyday.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a pretty mixed experience. The food itself was actually decent—nothing amazing, but definitely enjoyable.

Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn’t match the quality of the food. The service was very slow, and the staff came across as uninterested and somewhat rude, which made the atmosphere feel uncomfortable. On top of that, the bathrooms were noticeably filthy, which is always a big red flag for me when dining out.

Because of the cleanliness and service issues, I personally wouldn’t choose to dine in here again.

Overall, while the food might make it worth trying, I’d recommend sticking to takeout or delivery rather than eating in.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Mehfil Restaurant. I ordered chana and dal mash, and it was one of the worst meals I have had in a long time. The food tasted old and did not seem fresh at all. Both dishes were excessively oily and overwhelmingly spicy, making them very difficult to enjoy. Instead of tasting authentic and flavorful, the food seemed poorly prepared and lacked quality.
What made the experience even worse was that I developed stomach pain after eating the meal. While I cannot say exactly what caused it, I felt unwell afterward and regretted ordering from this restaurant. When customers pay for food, they expect it to be fresh, properly cooked, and safe to eat. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel other customers should be aware of my experience. The restaurant needs to pay much closer attention to food freshness, oil usage, spice levels, and overall quality control. Based on this experience, I would not order these dishes again and cannot recommend them to others. Very disappointing.

I recently visited Mehfil Restaurant & Banquet and had an excellent experience. The food was authentic, fresh, and full of flavor, reminding me of the true taste of Pakistani cuisine. Every dish was prepared with care, and the quality was outstanding. The Lahori fish and traditional specialties were especially impressive. The restaurant is known for its welcoming hospitality, and the staff made us feel right at home throughout our visit.

Horrible service, bad food and worse facilities.

I was in their party hall for a wedding and I've never had an experience like this. I had to argue with the one worker for plates, for the bare minimum. He acted like me I was burdening him by just asking a question. Food was awful chicken was tough, fish was overcooked, palek was too soft. They staff were rude and acted like they didn't want us there.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Where do I start. Food wasn't fresh at all, and had no taste. Absolutely horrible buffee. Wouldn't even recommend my worst enemy to eat the food. The service was horrible, from the waiters to the employees at the front desk, absolutely rude people who don't belong in the service industry. Any requests such as turning off the a/c ended with an argument. We were served plastic cups... And had to ask for drinks as they wouldn't serve any. Never again will I be coming to this horrible so called restraunt, and will definitely never recommend anybody to go here.
