Texas Chicken is a very useless . The taste is also very bad. Their chicken had a lot of oil in it. I didn't like it at all.I will tell everyone this, please dont try texas chicken in Hicksville, there is a lot of oil in these chickens. And I don't think they are using fresh chicken . Bcz chicken smell is very bad i throw all items in garbage. It's totally waste of money

I’m giving this place 5 stars as the staff are awesome and the place itself is very clean.
However, as loyal customer who has been coming to Texas (not just this location) for over 9 years me and my 10 year old daughter use to have Texas about 10 times a month (I know that’s a lot) and have been doing so since my daughter was about 3. Since corporate has changed their burger by reducing the meat size and changing the bun, we are no longer loyal to Texas anymore. I get it times are tough but increase the price why change the quality and product itself? It would be wise for corporate to return the original burger if they want to retain their loyal customers.

Absolutely a 5-star experience.
The food was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly. We tried the chicken sandwich, fries, and chicken tenders.
All were fresh, the right temperature and tasted great.
We weren’t rushed while placing our order and the person who rung us up suggested a different way to do the combo which saved us a bit and was very much appreciated.
The prices were comparable to similar chains and we felt as if we definitely got a good value for our money.
The food came out quickly (4-6 min at most, but weren’t timing it) and the person working the register politely walked the bag over to me and thanked me for my business.
Every thing including the seating area and the restroom were all very clean which based on the time of the day when we went was impressive.
We would absolutely go back the next time we are in the area.

I visited this outlet after midnight and the food was really taste. It was a bit noisy and it had some homeless people sitting in there at that time of the night. Overall experience was good.

I’ve been a loyal customer for about 5 years, and I’ve always appreciated the quality and consistency of the food. However, I feel disappointed with the recent change to the burgers. The new smash-style burgers are honestly not good—neither portion-wise nor taste-wise. I gave them a fair chance and tried them twice, but they are nowhere close to double cheese burgers and hell burgers they used to serve.Compared to the previous burgers, this feels like a downgrade. I’m sharing this with respect and hope the management considers revisiting the recipe or portion size, because this place has been great for years and I’d love to see it maintain the quality that kept me coming back.

Had the texas hell combo with a side of corn. The burger itself is alright, a bit greasy but that's what you get from a burger nothing too special. Fries were also alright, crinkle cut but not as crispy as I would have liked. The portions are good for what you paid in 2026.
But what made the whole meal absolutely terrible were this side of corn. I don't know if I was given something expired or something that's been left out for hours but it was absolutely vile. It was wet and soggy, smelled like liquid smoke and tasted like you bit into a gym sock.
I didn't have any of the chicken but I wouldn't go back to try. If you live or work around the area and care more about the amount value than quality of the food, would recommend but just avoid ordering the sides.
