Truly a hidden gem! The owner/ chef is truly the sweetest and has worked very hard to make it to this point. The food is made to any specifications requested, accommodatng many different dietary restrictions! The staff is working very hard always! We ate South Indian, Indo Chinese, and Punjabi - all of it was wonderful.
Yes it's a small space, but the food is absolutely worth the wait. And if you can't wait, get take out!
Highly recommend
The food here is exceptional, reminiscent of a delightful home-cooked Indian meal. Every dish is incredibly flavorful. I've sampled a variety of appetizers and main courses, all of which were superb. The service is outstanding; the staff are incredibly kind and attentive. Despite being fully booked, the hosts ensured we received excellent care throughout our visit. I would definitely recommend.
This place is really a hidden gem in Hicksville
Fantastic South Indian food. The menu is hugely varied, the service was very speedy, and the prices are reasonable.
So happy they’re back open! Hands down the best South Indian food on Long Island! Their dosas are unbeatable. And don’t miss the Indo-Chinese Hakka noodles, my absolute favorite. A cozy, homely spot that always hits the mark.
This cozy little Indian restaurant in Hicksville surprised me with its authentic and delicious food. I ordered the North Indian Thali, and it was fantastic—a perfect sampler of rich curries, fluffy basmati rice, warm roti, dal, and a sweet treat. Each component full of bold, balanced spices.
The service was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant had a simple, no-frills vibe that made the meal feel homely. Street parking was easy, with spots available near the entrance.
This is in my “GoTo list” when I am nearby.
This is hands down the best Indian restaurant. The food is always fresh, authentic, and made with real care. Their hospitality and service are consistently excellent, and the mango lassi is a must-try. After being closed for two months due to a fire next door, they’re finally back — and better than ever. Please come out and support this amazing place!

Good food with good service
I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant.
Ambiance: it’s a very casual restaurant. It’s also a bit small so if you’re coming with a big group, I advise that you call ahead. It’s a simple set up for a comfortable hangout or dinner. It’s a great place to bring someone who wants to try authentic Indian food.
Food: I LOVED their dosa. It was a large size and the sambhar it came with was so flavorful and delicious. They have us refills too which is great. The chutney it came with was nice - was a good contrast to the sambhar. We also LOVED the dry Manchurian. It was so crispy and well seasoned and sauced. We enjoyed it so much we ended up getting a second order.
Service: they were very busy but service was still great. They were patient and answered all our questions and took our order quickly. The food took awhile to come out.
Price: very reasonably priced and worth it too considering the large portion sizes.
