As an app we got the chicken wings which were perfectly crispy. Then I had the meatloaf which was incredible, the green beans were cooked to perfection and the mashed potatoes were delicious. The staff was attentive and the fellow dinners were so friendly.

We were in town visiting friends and looking for a good pizza spot open Wednesdays since a lot of options were closed. The Dinner Plate was open and did not disappoint.
The owner went out of their way to accommodate a request we had and had our order ready for pickup in a reasonable timeframe considering how busy they were. I also appreciated that the owner requested feedback to ensure he had the opportunity to make things right if we weren't happy.
With that, we were happy with our pizza. Toppings were high quality and the flavors were good. If we end up in Stamford again, we'll definitely be heading back to The Dinner Plate.

My husband and I had an excellent meal at My Dinner Plate this evening. Our server and the owner were so friendly and took great care of us. We both ordered the strip steak and they were excellent! Cooked to perfection and so flavorful! If we lived in the area we would certainly return frequently! Thanks again for a great meal and the excellent service!

Our waiter was super friendly and great with my daughter. Owner approached us to see how we were doingand for a quick chat. food was so good we all got burgers and and pasta and everything was delicious we noticed they also had ALOT of deliveries going out the door which is a great sign. Definitely recommend this place and will be going back when in the area.

Owner was rude and abrupt. Pizza pie was just dripping with oil. The dough was soggy. Just awful. Don't waste your time or money. Cash only but they have an atm so I'm guessing they just want to force people to use it for their profit. There's so many better options in the area. Won't go back. I do not believe any of these positive reviews. Every single person I've spoken to personally has said the owner is awful and the food isn't good.
Parking: Parking for 4 vehicles tops if they park curiously.

The staff and owner are very friendly and attentive, checking in occasionally to see how your meal is going and if you need a refill on any drinks.
The food they provide is made to order, tastes great, and you get generous portions for your money, making it a go-to for meeting up with friends or just taking your family out for Friday night dinner.
I say if you ever come through Stamford and you want both a taste of this town's hospitality and the taste of some savory delicious pizza, you should give the Dinner Plate a try.
