I’ve Been going here for 2 years. I bought a cake for St. patty’s day and every guest of mine said the cake had a chemical taste! At first I thought it was just me. Glad I wasn’t going crazy.I immediately called the bakery to give them the benefit of the doubt. I kept getting told the owner will call… he never did. I even saved the cake for a few days. As I was told that the owner would want to try it himself. I guess my word wasn’t enough?Regardless no one has contacted me and I’ve made several additional calls. I will no longer be using this bakery.

Aside from the unfriendly middle- aged Hispanic woman working at the front counter, the banana pound cake I bought, was stale and tasted like it was left out to dry out. There were also bananas cooked into the cake that tasted like we were chewing on chewy plastic discs. Gross! The young girls who work there are always nice, but this was it for us. After the recent stale red velvet cupcakes and now this, we’ll just hit up Rolling Pin in Stony Brook while we’re over in that direction.

Authentic Italian bakery with a great selection. We were visiting from out of state and this was a welcome find.

Wonderful cakes and cookies and coffee! I'm lucky to live less than 2 miles from this great bakery! Always consistent with their delicious desserts. The staff is always very friendly and helpful! I hope they continue to bless our town with such great sweets!

Ordered a pastry and when I got home the cream tasted spoiled. Ended up throwing it right out. There is definitely no quality control here.

My go-to bakery for cakes! I tend to get things last minute so I get whatever they have on display and they're still very good. It's a cute little bakery, but you can still sit and enjoy a treat! Customer service is great and they're open later than most bakeries.

Fantastic pastries. Very fresh with good flavor. All the usuals plus some fine tuning. For example the lobster tails came in custard or whipped cream. They had a raspberry cheese bear claw type dessert. Everything we got was a 10! Can't wait to go back.

Been going to this bakery for so many years, since I was a child. Always love their bakery items her. They are always delicious and leave me satisfied. They aren't badly priced at all. Highly highly recommend their canollis, I can not get enough of them. Highly recommend coming here for bakery

First time here this morning. Super helpful, amazing looking pastries, delicious donuts and awesome iced latte. I’d put 10 stars if it were an option. Great stuff!!!!

I was in line for the drive thru pharmacy and this place was screaming out to me.....so I ditched the line and mozied my way in. I have never stepped foot in here and was surprised pleasantly about two things. 1. Although a wide variety of Italian cookies, they actually have a great many other pastries. 2. They have an assortment of bread too!I am totally not Italian so most of the names of the items are amiss on me. But the apple muffin was great, more cake like than muffin like. The lobster tail with custard...that was good. And I had a bite of hubbie's chocolate mousse thing...which by the way I had to trade a week of trash duty for a bite! So he really liked it. The mousse did have some sort of alcohol in it...just for informational purposes.Service was pleasant. But really it wasn't my service that wow'ed me. When I walked in, another lady was being helped. It wasn't until the other girl working the counter explained she was going to have to call her manager that I realized...uh oh....problem. Apparently the other lady had ordered a special cheesecake. But....the ticket had never been given to the baker. Alas no special cheesecake was ready. Obviously the lady ordered it for a special reason. I mean most people don't order a cheesecake to pick up on Friday to watch reruns of Grey's Anatomy and just chill. But this could be a splendid idea. The girl came back from the convo with the manager. Apolgized profusely and offered this a solution. First a full refund. Then they would also give her a plain cheesecake already made, as well as do a quick platter of pastries. I thought this was really nice and fair. Listen, everyone messes up from time to time. It happens. But I thought the way they owned their mistake and really offered to make it right....that is good service.
