Always an awesome place. Pickles are fabulous!! Hot chicken sammich perfect. They also made it less spicy for dining companions. Amazing beer selection. Great wait staff

Originally we passed by this restaurant but I’m glad we turned around! Nice little restaurant looks like a sports bar inside with the walls and ceilings neatly covered in sports attire. Our waitress was very friendly and food was also very good, I enjoyed the Fish and Chips with the Beer-Battered Haddock which came out hot and fresh.

We stopped in here on the way home from Maine to Pennsylvania. We arrived at about 11:30 AM or shortly after they opened. The parking lot was already starting to fill and the place was packed when we left at 12:30 PM.

We waited a bit for a table after our 37 mile hike, but the food was pretty good. I got a burger with mushrooms cheese and a fried egg on top which was delicious and great french fries

Great meal in a cool restaurant. The only drawback was one of the owners. I'm not sure what his name was but he was drunk and obnoxious. Seemed to have a group of hangers-on around him that tolerated his stupidity. Let's hope he stops the stupidity. Other than this guy the place was great.

This is as much of a tourist trap as anywhere else in the area. You will get better food at a better price if you continue to Bennington or Troy. This place may have been the best burger a decade ago, but the rest of the world has caught up and moved past it. And yes, it really is $5 EXTRA to substitute French fries for potato chips.

Had never been to New York, so drove over the border and had lunch. Food was excellent.

Honestly, the severs were awesome, very friendly, accommodating. The look of the place inside is cool, lots of old and cool stuff hanging on the walls and ceilings. That's where the good news ends. The atmosphere was off due to the type of clientele(meaning regulars)
A lot of uptight entitled New Yorkers who act like it's their house that you are intruding on. The cool stuff hanging was covered in a half inch of grimey dust and the dining room would never pass a health inspection which they obviously have not had in a long time. And I ordered a burger, pretty hard to mess up a burger but somehow they did. The rest of my party enjoyed their food I will say that!
A little over priced but it is NY.
In its prime, probably a good place but lacking now.
We have been here 3 times, mind you we drive from Ohio so my husband can have their French onion soup!! He says it is the best he has ever had. Wait staff is great!
Classic English pub on the way to Vermont. Must stop.
Best burger in 1000 miles. Hyperbole you say? Your loss.
All sorts of eclectic collections adorn this locals spot. Imperial pints, friendly folk, big menu.
What an awesome place for lunch !! Staff are super nice, food is absolutely delicious, reasonably priced, great atmosphere
