This is the best viennoiserie in the United States, if not the world. Absolutely puts New York City to shame. Impossibly thin, well-defined layers, and the perfect airy interior. Don’t miss their canelé, donuts, danishes, kouign amann, etc. Basically, they can do no wrong. Worth a special pilgrimage from the city.

Sourdough is exceptional. I have never had a cruffin before but amazed, cannot comprehend the mix of light fluffy layers with delicious custard interior. ?

Wow! Got there before opening and there was already a line down the block. Well worth the wait! We got the daily special croissant (pistachio with a cafe cream on top), a morning bun, and a baguette. All of them were amazing! The croissant was delicate in texture but had amazing flavor. The morning bun was like a croissant, cardamom bun, sticky bun hybrid (what’s not to love?) And the baguette was simply phenomenal. Great shop, excellent product, and nice staff!

Let’s talk about these premium pastries. When the line forms before they open during the week you just know there’s something magical baking in that store. Amazing pastries!

We loved these pastries- we couldn’t stop coming back for more during our weekend getaway! Our favorites were the morning bun and the cruffin, but everything was great. Super high quality and made with care! Definitely coming back next time we’re here.

Unbelievable. No other way to describe it. Just indescribably good. We tried so many things, haha. My favorite was the kouign amann and pistachio croissant. Cappuccino is great too! We ordered so many different things that the people working forgot to put the almond croissant in our bag, which was sad for us, but we called and they promptly refunded it back to our card (thank you!) Please open in NYC!

There's a reason Breadfolks is rated as one of New York State's best bakeries. Every loaf, every croissant, every turnover, every single thing is made with care, love, and expertise. No matter what you choose, you will not be disappointed. The staff is always smiling and helpful. If you're anywhere near Breadfolks, you should stop in and give it a try.

Ok Breadfolks is legit. It's not just hype. We came here on a Saturday around 2pm in late November and there wasn't a wait nor were they out of anything critical. We got the batard, the baguette, and about 6 pastries (croissants, sausage rolls, cruffins) along with some capers and sauerkraut. The total ended up being $50, which was surprisingly not bad. The pastries were amazingly good—I'm not a croissant person but I was bowled over by their lamination and how well they got flavors into their flavored pastries without overwhelming the pastry itself. The bread is where it's at though (it's in their name!)—incredible texture and flavor, a nice, tangy/sour-ey flavor without being acidic. Definitely worth a detour!

Was visiting from out of state and went to this place. The pastries are light and flaky, perfect consistency. I've never been to a bakery like this and it really makes you feel as though this is one of the few places worthy of calling itself one. It's no wonder there was a line out the door.

One of my favorite bakeries! Must go every time I visit Hudson. We ordered the passionfruit cruffin, kouign amann, sausage roll, baklava croissant, tomato+ricotta danish, and morning bun. Our favorites were the croissant, danish, and kouign amann. The oat milk cappuccinos we got were also great.

Best bakery I have been to in years. Love the almond croissant and passion fruit cruffin. The level of sweetness is on point!

Great food. Lousy service. Their ordering system really is awful. It causes more issues than needed. You should 1. Order 2. Pay 3. Pickup Baked Goods 4. Pickup Beverages. Not the other way around. Then things go awry and the staff blames the customer and don’t know what to do next. It’s like walking into a can of Mexican jumping beans.

YUM! Every pastry we got was delicious! We were so sad that we showed up too late on Sunday on our way home since we couldn’t pick up more treats. It’s hard to pick, but I think the Morning Bun was my favorite.

These pastries are honestly life-changing. Lost sleep because I was thinking about them. Nice dark bake and delicate flakiness prove that the hands that made them are skilled to the highest degree.

Best pastries I’ve ever had. Like ever.
