Botana Oaxaquena
2 red empanadas, 2 queso fresco empanadas, 1 stuffed Mexican pepper, pieces of queso Oaxaca, steak, chorizo, red cesina, a blistered jalapeno, grilled onions, rice, beans on the side, and a side of guacamole and salsa. Served with 6 homemade tortillas. Can feed up to 3 people.

El Sabor de Oaxaca is the tastiest lunch spot on Warren Street and it’s always empty which is a shame - friendly staff and a basic cute room with charming music- my Mexican shrimp in a creamy tomato sauce was divine

The food was incredible, will definitely go back here on our next trip to Hudson. They were very accommodating of dietary restrictions, we had 2 vegetarians and a vegan and we all enjoyed our meals

This place is as authentic as it gets. I've eaten a number of times in Mexico, and this takes me back. Taste, texture and aroma are all on point. I even went out of my way on the way home during Thanksgiving to get another taste. Highly recommend.
