Double espresso for here came to $4.05. Sweeter than what i was expecting, a good thing. Plent of seating and they have a bathroom too. Also alcohol options. That they roast the coffee makes a difference. Various food options. Friendly staff. They're expanding to next door as well so they must be doing well.

Hudson Roastery Cafe, Park Place,Hudson N.Y.Cute clean eclectic modern decor, clever concept by placing your order at register and pay, then search for seating which is limited if you want a table. Counter seating is always available. (Wish seat was more comfortable with standard support for spine instead of metal stool). Ordered egg sandwich on Pullman with avacado and ham very tasty but the egg was non existence, sandwich mostly avacado. Belgium waffle with berry compote and dollop of whip creme. Waffle very light and tasty, wish the waffle was standard size, a bit small for the price,(child size )Croissant was over baked ,disappointing. Whipped hot coco delicious and velvety, cappuccino had nice body and correct amount of balance of milk ,espresso. 1st cappuccino I could savor without sweetner. Nice cafe ,if your in the area give this place a try.Parking: Meter parking on street when available

Usually love this place as it is one of the only coffee shops with good hours for locals. That being said, my last trip in here was not great. We were a group of three sat at a table with coffee and pastries. After 30 minutes (and only part way through coffee) we were asked if we would order more food, or leave in order to make room for more customers. We quickly drank our unfinished coffees and left, but really weren’t happy about only being able to spend 30 minutes inside before being asked to leave.

Arrived at this Café/Restaurant expecting to get a good cup of coffee. What we experienced was an amazingly well decorated, warm ambiance, tastefully lighted and well run establishment. Food was excellent and arrived perfectly timely as soon as we finished enjoying our delicious Cappuccino. Deservedly the place was packed with patrons, which allowed us ample time to study the menu and extensive coffee and Latte selections. Had a chance to speak with Tony the owner and his lovely wife. No wonder this restaurant was well designed and properly managed. It’s an extension of their beautiful energy which is both friendly and invitingly warm. Must Must Must Visit.

I came here for breakfast yesterday with high hopes. The place is stylishly decorated and reminded me of a cafe in NYC. The coffee was fine but I also ordered the shakshuka ($12) which came in a tiny skillet (maybe about 1/2 cup worth) with one poached egg and four "bread points" which were two slices of challah (I think) pressed super thin and sliced diagonally. The shakshuka was bland and the bread seemed stale. While I was there, a person I assume was the owner showed up with her giant dog. The dog had free rein of the restaurant, even the food prep area behind the counter which I'm pretty sure is a violation of NY health code. I guess Hudson can sustain those prices and tiny portions, but at least make it taste good.

The best lobster rolls outside of Maine. Hope to return soon.
