Sonder is a hidden gem right on a major street! I cannot believe I hadn’t been here but I’m glad I was able to convince the family to head to a new spot. The meat - chicken, steak and pork belly - were all cooked to absolute perfection and I was VERY impressed particularly by the steak. Loved the Mac n cheese gnocchi and the unique flavors on the ginger risotto. Fun vibes - very hip for the area and who doesn’t love a wine bar with disco balls and a backyard? I would absolutely recommend this spot! Thank you so much and keep up the great work!

Doctor Pepper Marinated Flank Steak with sunchoke Chios & gochujang.Serious solid food, amazing wines, and a killer playlist.This is precisely what Kingston needs, sophistication, and actually well seasoned, creative food.It's rare for me to leave a review but when I do, it's for a venue I believe in. This is amongst the gems in Kingston, NY you MUST hit up.They don't try to appeal to everyone, they do what they do well & are unapologetic.

Dark, swanky interior makes for a good backdrop to the flavors in their delicious small plates. Be forewarned though, all their wine is served chilled because it's natural wine.

Even though they ran out of half of the dishes we had ordered before 8:00 pm, everything we had was excellent. It's a super funky and uniqiue little place. Inventive, eclectic, hilarious.

Really original, delicious food. Ok, but also, the ambience, the vibe of this place is IMPECCABLE. Welcoming and warm waitstaff whoa whoa whoa. Get the burger - the best $12 you'll ever spend. The waitress was so attentive about the wine - she made sure we were satisfied with the wines we chose and made inspired recommendations. They went above and beyond to give us a very special Friday night. This was one of the best meals I've ever had on a spiritual level.
Went to Sonder with 3 friends. Had an amazing experience front to back. The food was amazing. The staff was attentive and kind. And guess what a little bit of 21 savage in the background? Why not?Truly a blessed meal.
