They NAILED the Speakeasy vibe. If I could give 6 stars I would.

Located right next to the Maker hotel, it screams prohibition with heavy brown door and gas lit sign.

We had a 30 minute wait, but in reality about 5. Sat at the bar and surrounded by art deco meets wilderness lodge. Classy, elegant, but warm.

The drinks were spectacular. I had their low ABV drink, driver, and it was delicious….think it was called searching for time. Light, citrusy, and a splash of bubble. I’m not a fan of vermouth, but this drink changed my mind. The other drink was the Dulce Far Niente and landed so well, smooth and sweet but not overbearing.

The fries…oh those fries, delicious. We added the truffle and it was 10/10.

Great vibes, great drinks, great food, and even greater people. Will be back!

Highly recommended by an industry friend. We were greeted and taken for a tour as soon as we entered the Hotel. We had burgers and cocktails at the Bar. Great service from Tommy, the head bartender and Tamara. Went back the following night to enjoy the lounge, the host was fun and dynamic, cocktails were perfect. Beautiful Place and immersive experience.

I’m not interested in being overly dramatic but I was simply appalled by the total and complete lack of service or humanity. Bartender had a family and friends group in on a slow night. Spent zero time attending to anyone else, wouldn’t even acknowledge us. It was clear that we weren’t supposed to be there and it was only meant for insiders. Attitude, innuendo, and general bad juju. I advise anyone looking for a romantic experience to steer elsewhere. Hope you have a better time if you choose otherwise, sincerely. Good luck.

Stopped by for a cocktail before dinner at Feast & Floret, which was fabulous. The Maker has a nice ambience. The prices for drinks are more expensive than any place I've been in NYC. Two cocktails, one red wine and a bottle of Pelligrino, $85.00 w/ tip! (Dinner for two at Feast was only $5.00 more! One bottle of Pelligrino at The Maker was $9.00! That's excessive. Beware. Waitress was pleasant.

A sexy, luxurious vibe. The bartenders know what they're doing! I tried one of their cocktails, In Search of Lost Time. It was was the Bees Knees! Wait, do people say that anymore?! Well, they should! This cocktail is remiscent of the classics from the Roaring 20s. Add it together with the dark, strategically lit space and you are transported into a speakeasy of the era, minus the threat of a raid. I digress. The drink is the perfect summer libation after a stroll through town or two towns, Catskill and Hudson. I want to return to try more, I just need a Dez. Wanna join me? Haha.

What a neat place! Happened to be passing through the area for business and stopped for a bite and a drink. The atmosphere is lovely and historic with dark wood calling back to the carriage house it once was. The cocktail menu had a great variety of unique and adventurous offerings that wont dissapoint. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of what they were offering. The team there was knowledgable and passionate about what they do and I learned quite a bit in chatting with them! The burrata I ordered was uncomplicated and yummy, a nice snack to go along with the drinks. Definitely more of an intimate setting so wouldn't recommend for a large party but perfect for a date night or if you are like me and end up in the area in need of a respite from the outside world.
