We had a chicken sandwich and fries. The fries were great, the chicken sandwich was not good. It was extremely greasy and falling apart. My kiddo had a couple of bites and had a stomach ache and more shortly after eating.

I can't choose between the foot long hotdog with sourkraut and mustard, the delicious chicken sandwich, or the amazing smash burger.... so I get all three. There is usually just enough left over for a snack later.

There is no way for me to express in words how absolutely preposterously delicious these french fries are, and the fact that they are gluten-free means that my five year-old son can enjoy them. Every time we are upstate, my kids are constantly asking, “When can we go to whale belly?”
The proprietor of the establishment, John, Works hard on every order, is extremely down to earth, and is super chill about the fact that he makes the best French fries on the planet.
The beer next door is good, too.

Amazing place! Always friendly and the food is super tasty! Most flavorful food in town. We especially love the Fried Chicken sandwich and the non-fried chicken sandwich. The loaded fries and hot dogs are also amazing. And if you can get there before they sell out the pork belly sliders are great too. :)

Absolutely delicious! I haven't had pork belly this good in a long time. Meat was perfect texture and BBQ sauce was tastefully done: not overwhelming with a great flavor. Vegetarian option was also delicious and very well thought out. Highly recommend the potatoes and the pretzel. I don't usually do the cheese dip with pretzels, more of a mustard girl, but this beer cheese was so tasty! Would definitely go here again.
Vegetarian options: Minimal (but delicious) menu overall but had 3-4 vegetarian options.
Kid-friendliness: Had a large outdoor area. Plenty of seating.
