Delicious as always- the don't have the spoonbread this time which is our favorite but as usual it was fantastic. The Wagu burger was delicious as was the chicken. 10/10
Great cocktails and creative food with a good staff. One of our favorite restaurants in Hudson
I really love this restaurant. Our waitress was lovely, but they were very very busy and we were put in the breakfast room, so the poor waitress had to keep running up and down stairs to us, and had a bunch of other tables, obviously. Most of the food was fantastic. I loved my onion soup, the bread and ham appetizer were both fabulous. we ordered a bunch of side dishes and they were sadly, a little underwhelming. The buttered radicchio just tasted like wilted radicchio, the romesco was ok, the mushrooms were good but also underwhelming. goddess salad very good. My husband's burger was downright beautiful to look at and the fries delicious. So I would have given it a 5 because the waitress was so nice and worked so hard, but because of what was probably under staffing, we waited 35 minutes to get our drinks and because a few dishes were a little less than stellar, I dropped a star. We will be back because it was overall very good!
Many things went wrong. A few things went right. They could do better with some staff training and by losing the chips on their shoulders.
Spectacular meal! Amazing service ! We spent a wonderful evening eating at the bar. Our bartender was amazing and his recommendation's couldn't be better. Do not skip the best onion soup we have ever had as well as a most delicious burger. Drinks were amazing as was dessert. If you are in the area we highly recommend!! We will be back .
I always enjoy this restaurant. It is constantly a great place to dine whether it is just 2 or a large party.
Some of the best food I’ve had. Son of a Beesting was absolutely the best cocktail I’ve ever tasted. Service was great. Ambience was wonderful.

Food and drinks: Food was generally quite good, especially the oysters and Burger de luxe. The service was consistently disappointing, careless, and lackluster. Ordered the ham tasting board, which appeared to be a featured item. No one came to tell us about the different hams of which there appeared to be ~8 providers, which made the tasting plate somewhat meaningless. My second drink was ordered after the food was on the table and first drink had been empty for 10 minutes, and I received it when I had one bite left of my dinner. For those prices, that kind of service was extremely disappointing.

Stopped in for a nightcap. Very friendly service, great cocktails, and one of the best desserts we’ve had to this day - don’t skip the sticky toffee pudding! We’ve considered multiple times making the drive up from the city just to have it again. Will be back soon!

This is a review for the restaurant. The atmosphere was very chaotic. Tables were crammed together - other patrons rear-ends kept hitting our table. I couldn't hear anything being said to me. The food was OK. Nothing amazing stood out from the menu. I couldn't wait to be done with my meal so I could get out of there. Pretty sure I suffered some hearing loss. Please allow your patrons more room in your restaurant. Will not be back EVER again.

Restaurant Review:
Very disappointing experience. We had high hopes but were very much let down in all aspects of our visit.
Service - For the price point of the restaurant, we were expecting a little more in terms of service (ie. being relatively knowledgeable about the menu, attentive and welcoming). Our waiter unfortunately did not have too much knowledge about the menu.. He continuously said ‘i don’t know’ to 95% of our questions. Did not help to guide us through any of the menu or provide recommendations or clarity on portion sizes (they have appetizer and entree sizes for multiple items).
Old Fashioned - just tasted like straight bourbon. Paying upwards of $20 for a cocktail is not insignificant - it was nothing special, and there was no unique flavor or experience attached to that.
Beef Tartare - Possibly the worst we have ever had. It had a very strange after taste and was as served with prepackaged chips that did not complement the flavor of the meat at all. No homemade chips or crostini?! We could not finish it, and that is rare.
Pasta - Tasted like a baked macaroni and cheese, a bit heavy - not super memorable/ flavorful
Bread: Jalapeño butter was actually the best part but not worth the price of $10 for 4 small pieces of cold bread
We go out to dinner pretty often in a week, so we are comfortable trying new places, supporting local and paying higher prices for great experiences. This one has actually stuck with us months later by how disappointing it was. Unfortunately would not recommend.

10/10 would recommend WM Farmer. We stayed on premise, 2 couples and a toddler. The accommodations were perfect, easier than an airbnb and with a great common area to hang out. Very comfy bed, friendly staff, and overall great experience. We also ate at the restaurant, the food was outstanding. Had a few appetizers, all were extremely fresh and flavorful. I cannot recommend the burger enough- they even knew the farmer who sourced the meat. The whole experience was perfect for a family with a toddler, could walk to everything in town and the staff made everything easy. A+ all around.
