It's a lovely space, but we felt that the restaurant was expensive. Examples of expense: having to pay for bread and the minuscule size of the drinks. The limited selection of gins was also annoying. On the plus side, the hamburgers we had were great, and our server was delightful, efficient and attentive.

Wow! Great service, atmosphere, and the food was 5⭐️. The workers were very welcoming and pleasant to speak with. A nice intimate setting for both couples and/or larger groups. Highly recommend the steak with truffle tots and duck with broccolini. We left there very happy.

It's a beautiful and charming place . Farmhouse chic. We got there very late (9:30) but staff was welcoming and extremely accommodating. We had the burgers which were delicious. The only thing I would say is it is expensive- for casual dining . Nonetheless I will definitely come back.

We went for my husband's birthday. We've been in Hudson for a few years now and had been wanting to go there for dinner, so we finally did. It did not disappoint! Great atmosphere, food & service. We'll be back!

This place had an amazing ambience, very dark rustic and moody. Reminded me of being in New Orleans! I loved it. Nice for a romantic dinner or just night out for dinner with friends. The service was top notch! I had the Appalachian sunburst farm trout, it was absolutely amazing. The burger was awesome and barbecued shrimp with grits.

Ambiance was awesome. The place had like an industrial vibe to it that we really enjoyed. The food was phenomenal. We were blown away at how delicious it was and how perfectly cooked (and huge) our steaks were! Servers were kind and helpful. Already looking forward to coming back

William Farmer and Sons is a sophisticated restaurant for casual dining for special occasions or just an average night on the town. The farm to table food is superb. We have never been disappointed with our meal or drinks. The service is top notch. It feels like a family restaurant where the staff remembers you between visits.
One of our best dining experiences in some time. Staff were pleasant, helpful nd non intrusive. The food was frankly exceptional, every course was lovely and now memorable. We have already recommended this special place in NY state. Thank you

Charming spot in Hudson, NY. Unfortunately, not a great experience. Drinks were so/so -bartender didn't know how to make a muddled old fashioned. Food was fair at best. One meal was sent back once and was brought back to the table inedible . My shrimp was good but lukewarm and the third diner wasn't thrilled. Not a lot of gluten-free selections. Server was knowledgeable and very nice but I definitely would not recommend.

Farmer is our go to spot for exceptional meals, service, ambiance. The place just gets better and better. Now with more local brews! The menu consistently changes but old standards are alway amazing. Ham board with home made biscuits pickles and chutney. And butter! Damn. We had an incredible southern shrimp dish and a pot pie. The best place in the Hudson valley hands down.

The restaurant has a great vibe and atmosphere. It's the perfect place to come for a nice dinner or you could sit at the bar for a more casual night. I highly recommend you check out Wm Farmer and Sons if you're in the Hudson area. We also stayed in one of their rooms and it was perfect! Our room was so charming and unique and had a view of the Hudson river. We loved everything about it. The location is great as we could walk right up to Warren Street to visit the shops. Highly recommend Wm Farmer and Sons!!
