After visiting Olana State Historic Site a group of six went to El Sabor for a late lunch. It was our first time there. We looked it up on Google Maps but didn’t know anything else about it. It’s a very casual place. A bunch of tables for four people and a counter where you go to get takeout. We pulled a table away from the wall so all six would fit at the table. We stumbled across this restaurant completely by accident when taking a walk in downtown Hudson. My wife had an order of veggie tacos - and said that they were the best veggie tacos she ever had. I ordered a chicken burrito. It was loaded with filling but I would rate it as good vs great. It was a bit on the bland side. Amazing place, very authentic food, my family and I were very impressed with food, service and hospitality. Highly recommend. Chicken quesadillas and the heavy soup (pozole) out of this world.
