Island Empanada of Huntington Station

Not many choices when I was there. Empanadas were small and not stuffed like I was hoping for. They were tasty and I will most likely go back. Hopefully they will be fully stocked with all the different flavors

It was good, wonton soup alittle bland but wontons were good. Eggplant dish tasty.

Nice customer service. But unfortunately the food was not great. I got a peril and beef empanada with rice and tostones. The peril was very dry, the beef barely had any beef and the tostones were covered in salt. I was rooting for them cause they were in a great location but unfortunately I can not go back.

Great spot on Long Island for empanadas that are pretty darn good. No corn option which is the only miss. Nice staff, clean space. Get the chipotle options if you like spicy.

Last batch wasn't as good as my previous. Decent food

First and Last time, I know food and this ain't it. To start my order was wrong which is unbelievable because everything should be in its own place. Food was cold as soon as I got home 20 min?!? Trust me this and any of the other locations are a waste. Theres a 1000% better option in Lindenhurst

One of the BEST chicken soups I have ever had in my life!!! And a great gluten-free option. Definitely lots of garlic in the broth which would also make it a great immune-booster.I am already plotting returning for more (I live in Brooklyn).

The Island Empanada restaurant in Huntington Station is amazing. The lunch special that they offer for 2 empanadas with rice & beans, sweet plantains, and a 16 oz. fountain soda for $9.99 is excellent. There are so many unique options of empanadas that you can choose from.Each time I've walked into Island Empanada, the employees have treated me like family and have always been incredibly friendly. I have consistently gone back to this place due to its amazing food, its wonderful hospitality, the abundance of options for its empanadas that you can choose from, and its great pricing. Every time I order from Island Empanada, I know that I can count on it being a quality meal!

Got the box of ten which is a great deal. I've had them in Rocky Point so I had a few favorites picked out already- chipotle chicken and spinach and feta, which were delish. I decided to try a plain beef, beef with cheese, and loaded potato. The two beef were delicious and I wish I had ordered more. The loaded potato was good but I've had others that I liked more. I also got an oreo empanada which will knock your socks off. All of them had a crispy crust, cooked to perfection - not burnt or underdone, or too thick or thin for that matter. Ordering was a breeze, ordered online for pickup but the store front says delivery. They were ready in ten minutes! Keep in mind it was a Monday night around 7:30, though. Overall, great spot and excited that they're nearby

Well done. Just about anything you can imagine in an empanada. Not greasy - cooked well. Tostones as well. Worth many visits.

The shrimp empanada was totally filled with shrimp. Had more shrimp as a whole order of shrimp fried rice from Chinese places. And very tasty.

OH MY GOD! Is all i have to say... decided to try this place for dinner! Everything was delicious!!!! I tired the Cuban, the pernil, the Philly and Mac and cheese. The rice and beans were superb!You Definitely have a permanent customer.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I paid 37 dollars for 3 empanadas. On the grubhub menu it clearly states it is served with rice beans plantains and a 20oz soda. All I received was 3 empanadas. When I called to complain they simply said their screen only mentioned 3 empanadas nothing else and offered store credit. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!RESPONSE TO OWNER.You absolutely have the wrong customer I never mentioned a soup because I did not order a soup. Also a refund was never mentioned only store credit. I might have prematurely hung up after my last words were "No Thank You I will not be ordering from you again".

I ordered the box of 10 different empanadas and they were packaged so neatly and labeled. Now I know which I like most so I can save some money next time lol but they were all very good and different. The churro also is by far the best I've ever had

Definitely some of the BEST!!! empanada's I ever ate. The rice and beans were perfect and the plantains were absolutely awesome!!! I highly recommend the Latin shrimp, Bacon Mac & Cheese. Please bring back corned beef & cabbage empanada. Staff was friendly and gave exceptional service.
