Large assortment of pizza offerings; however, I did not partake. Tried the traditional cheese calzone and spinach/broccoli round calzone. Dough has a slightly sweet taste that I didn’t care for.
Everything was perfect!! We ordered 10 pies at 530pm for the following day. Everything was delivered on time, hot and we had a few allergies so the pies were separated. Couldn’t be happier !!!

Recently, they have improved their vegan cheese, making it one of the best options available, even converting some non-vegan friends. The restaurant serves homemade, authentic Italian food, with a comforting plain slice of pizza available for just under $5. The crust is thin and crispy, perfect for holding all that melted cheese, and the pizza is not greasy at all. While the staff has a typical New Yorker attitude, they are friendly and helpful. This pizzeria has been a popular spot in Melville since 2004, also offering excellent sandwiches, burgers, and wraps. Many customers believe the food is always great, and while some find it slightly pricey, they still recommend enjoying Mario's.
