“Celebrated my birthday here with my friends with all you can eat. We were surprised at the quality of food. It was delicious. 🤤 went a bit overboard with ordering lol because they bring you these ipads to place order to the kitchen and everyone tried to order for everyone. Next time we will just Order separately lol because definitely coming back.

Loved that could actually take home what we couldn’t finish - just had to pay by pound. Better than wasting.

“I really enjoyed my lunch at Miss Sakura, a lovely family-owned restaurant. I was served by their son, Danny—he’s only 15 years old, but he’s already doing an excellent job: attentive, polite, and confident.
The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and truly authentic with a comforting, homey Japanese feel. What stood out most was how the family continually checked in to make sure everything was perfect—you genuinely feel cared for here.
The space is small, but that only adds to the charm. You’re never overlooked, and the service feels personal and warm.

“Sunday night came for a quick dinner with my daughter. Cute small place nice decor. Great service, and personable. We got the shrimp gyoza, the sashimi platter appetizer, Sushi sandwich and spider roll. Everything was excellent, fresh and full of flavor, the sauce with the gyoza was amazing, and my daughter loved her rolls. Definitely check them out. Located at the CVS shopping center in Hicksville on Old Country Rd. Always support small mom and pop businesses such as this wonderful family.“

“The food was fresh, but a limited selection of fish compared to a larger place. Service was friendly. The reviews are generally good, but we found out when we got there the place is very small and one table, so not really for dining in.

“First off we didn't have Sushi. We went there for lunch and our food was fresh, delicious and wasn't expensive. The servers were very polite and attentive and the food came out in in less than 5 minutes after the appetizer. Sitting is limited but we had no problem around 1 pm for lunch. I love the Bento box and had the lunch special. Comes with miso soup, ginger salad (which is mouth watering) and i had the chicken Katsu, with battered vegtables (eggplant and I think pumpkin). My wife had the Chicken Udon soup and it was tremendous. For the appetizer we had the pork Gyoza (similiar to dumplings) and they were light and very tasty.“

“My husband and I have been ordering here for quite sometime now. We have been through many sushi spots and we now depend on Azuma. They have incredible hours, they keep track of your orders, they are beyond sweet and kind to you in person and over the phone. They work with you when switching g up or changing items within an order. For the most part we order the sushi lovers boat and we are constantly switching up the rolls it comes with. The quality of the sweet shrimp, the scallop and the uni (when this is in stock) is of the highest quality. Eating from Azuma brings the experience to another level, it’s is beyond pure enjoyment. We do delivery often, which is fast, easy and always accurate. Eating in the restaurant is very enjoyable too with its wonderful atmosphere, as well as having delicious food! I know most sushi places have ginger dressing salad and miso.. but theirs is better than usual lol. And the rolls are fresh and not skimpy. Tea is included. I love coming here on my breaks sometimes.“
