I don’t think this place likes gay people. Went last night with my real ID and the bouncer said it was not me in the photo. Meanwhile he let everyone else in my group (girls and straight men) in with no issue.

My previous review was "removed". I guess it was too honest. Once again: Terrible service, terrible management, terrible bland food, unpleasant, musty odor in the "dining room". The "signature" short ribs were among the worst I've ever had. Need I say more? AVOID.

Perfect spot to catch a game. Food is excellent with loads of American or Irish options. Sucker for a shepherds pie which is highly recommend! Bartenders are attentive and kind. Comfortable seating and the layout is great.

Fun time...good band...the place is a typical neighborhood bar scene.

Great food and service! Try the short Rib. Melts in your mouth! Big restaurant and seems to have special events each night!

Aside from our server who was sweet, polite, and attentive, the dining at Finley's was overwhelmingly disappointing. It reminded me why, in the 13+ years that I've lived in the village, I've been here only 1-2 times. But I figured, it's been 6+ years since my last visit and the place is still around, surely they must have figured out a way to stay relevant? NOPE. I'm quite shocked that Finley's managed to stay around especially considering the countless, superior dining options in town and the high turnover of underperformers. Perhaps the bar scene is what keeps it around; perhaps the owner owns the property? Whatever the case may be, it's certainly not because of the food. I had the most flavorless mussels appetizer (and we went on their AYCE mussel special day!) - the steamed mussels were placed above a bowl filled with a butter/wine broth; the broth was just a 2.5/5 at best; it had too much of a bite from uncooked wine and tasted flat. The seared tuna entree was sadly overcooked - what a waste for the fish die for this - it looked and felt like i was eating pork. My fellow diners each paid the $10 upcharge for a tough piece of braised short ribs. To add to the experience, the table on our left got up (after getting through their complimentary basket of potato chips and while I do not know what transpired, I did overhear the server apologizing to them about something) and the table to our right sent an entree back. The entrees took a long time to come out, our drinks were delayed due to a 'missing bartender' and we were one of the only 4 tables dining that evening. The crab cake was the only saving grace - it was meaty with perfectly seared sides served atop a corn remoulade. I also do want to give them credit for excellent plating which, as we all know, in a social media driven society, is a great way to attract new, unsuspecting diners. I am writing this review mainly so that in 6+ more years, I do not make the same mistake again.

We ate in the pub part for Wednesday ight blues jam. I tried the all you can eat mussels. Not very good. Some mussels were old and shriveled, others were large and undercooked. Would't get again. My husband had the fish and chips. Chips were good, but the fish was just okay. Bartender was very nice. Nice selection of beers. Ran into a friend who said he'd just eaten the lamb special and it was great.

Needed a place in the area as we were heading to a show. I think this is such a great place. It's a very pretty old home. We enjoyed our meals very much. French dips, fish and chips and salmon. Our server was great as well. It's not in our area but we'll be back. Very enjoyable and just what we were looking for. When we left there was live music in the large bar. You would never have known it as the dining room was nice a quiet.

We booked the reservation off of TripAdvisor recommendations. We were going to a show at the Paramoun. Finley's was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. We would definitely go back again.
