Amazing and super friendly. Pizzas and pasta are large and delicious. Nice musique and vert clean restaurant. I strongly recommand.

Finally went under - over priced and under delivered - no pun intended. Originally location was great - these people were not customer friendly. Glad to see them go ! New owners should be able to grow the business!

Quick stop after a walk from Central Park over de Queensboroughbridge. Cocktail and wine were good, pizza Margarita also. The staff ( bartender ) was a nice guy. Took the time to talk with us. Gave some interesting places to visit. I would go back!

I don't know how the food of Massa rates, but I give it one star for the worse service EVER! I ordered a pizza to take out at 9:15 P.M. I went to pick it up about 20 minutes later, and no one had received the order, and the person who answered the phone when I called had just left. Okay, mistakes happen, and I was hungry; the young waitstaff assured me that they would get my pizza done as soon as possible, so I went to wait in my car. When I came back 20 minutes later, the pizza maker had only finished stretching the dough; I would have to wait another 15 minutes. So I left, and won't be going back, no matter how good their pizza might be.

I was excited to try Massa's, but was underwhelmed. Service was good, nice waitstaff. Crust and cheese were good. But sauce lacked (any!) seasoning. Literally had to shake salt on my slice ... who does that?!!! Nicely flavored sauce is sooo important! Toppings were eh. Carmelized onions were undercooked, large pieces on basil burned, sausage overcooked and rubbery. Atmosphere also seriously lacking .... ladders and extra chairs stacked all over the place, looks out onto an ugly interior hallway overlooking a dry cleaner. Would it be so hard to get some REAL curtains, so that people can have some ambiance while they eat? Could be so much better with a little extra effort!

Was looking forward to reviewing this pizza. I rate it a 3 out of 5. Good not great. The cheese and dough were good but the sauce was too acidic and bitter and tasted alot like tomato paste. Also when we received pie they gave it to us cold!! The brunette hostess was too busy talking to a friend at the bar that she was sooooo slow with the customers. When pizza came to us it was cold. Defintely was not happy as we waited a long time to get it. So they put it back in the oven. Also the owner was sitting outside of the restaurant and when we were happy to walk in, you would think he would say hello welcome or smile but he sat there like a log and was not welcoming. The table plastic covers were stained and dirty and even the candle holder had straw paper wrapper in it. So the place is a bit dirty and the pizza is good for the area but ive bad better and it was little pricey as well. Again good pizza but not the best.
