If you are looking for something different give this place a try. I’ve lived here for years and always thought this was another pizzeria. It’s not. They have pizza but more of an authentic homemade style along with many other Italian specialties. Chicken vodka parm hero was amazing. Pasta was the perfect type of al dente. Will be back for sure
Very good, higher quality pizza.This is my first time with 1653, there will be many more orders, hopefully my review I’ll not change.All the things you’d want in a pizza are there: crispy thin crust, but not overdone. Sweet, salty & tangy sauce. The right amount of mozzarella obviously high quality. Toasted where I need to be, soft and gushy where it should be.So far in my experience this is the best pizza in the local area. Came with a party of 8, everyone agreed food was great ( try the fried artichokes ). Only complaint was the noise level. There was live music which was nice but amplified too much so we had to shout to each other and to the waitress.
