We were there for lunch today. Visiting from out of town. We own a restaurant in Florida, so we can be tough critics lol. Everything was wonderful. The antipasto salad was huge, and delicious. The meatball parm hero was great too. The servings are definitely shareable. Our waiter was charming and attentive. Good job guys!

I have an awesome time. It was a relaxed, chill vibe. A friend invited me out to grab a bite. Service was good. We were so deep in a conversation that we lost track of time and we were like the last person in the restaurant before closing. Food was OKay!

Great pizza. Solid food. Best for eating in or take-out, as delivery option is a nightmare with this restaurant.
They almost always have only ONE driver handling all of Cold Spring Harbor, Lloyd Harbor, and Lloyd Neck, and deliveries are consistently late with management pretending they have no clue why and one bs excuse after another. They are obviously cutting corners hiring necessary drivers, as the restaurant business is tough. We get that. What they're not considering is that customers are not, necessarily, going to pay a 20-40% surcharge premium (not including tips) for delivery services like GrubHub, DoorDash, or UberEats just to have the honor of eating their food. They're good, they're not that good.
Be honest with customers about wait times for delivery orders at the outset, instead of selfishly and inconsiderately making them wait over an hour for their food to be delivered. If you're upfront about that rather than playing games with customers (which is just bad business, as it's offensive and will not encourage future ordering), then you can let the customer decide whether or not they want to invest in paying a premium to a delivery service for their food delivery.

My mother claimed they delivered the wrong entree last week. She ordered veal with penne and received only the penne. Portofino told her they would give her a credit and offer a free dinner. So I just picked up the delicious veal parm with spaghetti. Thank you Portofino! You have one very satisfied repeat customer.
