Prime: An American Kitchen & Bar

We went with a large crowd from France and Brazil and everyone loved their food. The place was lovely, great view and wonderful staff. The brunch was delicious, my husband loved his ricotta pancakes and the others loved their choices as well.

Prime is expensive- but you know that going in. The food was delicious and the service wonderful. Oh that bread and truffle butter- so so yummy

The ribs were excellent . Wish there were more options or flexibility with sides ( baked potato would have been nice )A visual ( pictures )desert menu would have helped with deciding as it's hard to remember what the waiter said at the beginning of his rundown of deserts Loved the $7 bread loaf with herbed butter but should have been included with those prices ! Lovely setting for a special occasion.

The waiter really helped us with our order since it was our first time . Everything was great . Chocolate cake best I've ever had .

We visited Prime Restaurant yesterday. It was a lovely day & we wanted to have a leisurely lunch with a beautiful water view. It was a very hot day so we requested a table indoors with a water view. Our food was delicious and the view was amazing. However, I feel the lunch choices are a little limited and quite expensive. I really wanted a cheeseburger but was told it's not offered on the weekends. Why??? My husband had a Lobster roll which came with a side of fries, $52.00. I had the filet mignon au poivre bites which was a small filet, sliced & came with a side of fries, $68.00. It was a pricey lunch, but I will admit it was very good, as was the ambiance and the view.

Second year in a row celebrating my mom's birthday (she is a nonagenarian!) Sitting out on the water is lovely. All the staff was great, helpful and accommodating. They even got us an inside table before a thunderstorm rolled in. Food is good, but very pricey. Worth it for a special occasion.

On June 1, 2025, my mother and I checked in about 4:30. They had a table for two available. We ordered the Porterhouse for two (MR), Brussel sprouts and mushrooms. DELICIOUS. The service (server Kelly) was top-notch. Quality high-end food in a comfortable atmosphere. The next time we're in Huntington, we will dine again. Thanks. The view was amazing too.

Usually a great experience. However not this time. Both of our entrees (ribeye and veal chop) were subpar. Pasta special was dry. Both cuts of meat were tough. Waiter never even came over to ask how everything was.

Great restaurant. Took my brother for his 40th birthday. Made a special notation in the description. Was greeted and wish a happy birthday when we walked in server was amazing manager came over and personally wished my brother happy birthday and gave him a card. Very sweet food was delicious.

It was a delightful afternoon. Our server was a nice attentive gentleman. We were a trio, enjoyed the power lunch of salads, gnocchi , salmon and burgers. All excellent. Although cloudy and rainy the view of the harbor was still lovely. Each time we have eaten here, we have never been disappointed.

We went there last night for our anniversary... they had a card wishing us a happy anniversary on the table and on our dessert there was a chocolate with happy anniversary again. Their acknowledgment was so outstanding.. prime is definitely an expensive restaurant but you get what you pay for everything was superb. And they're right down the block from us so how lucky are we?

The experience I had at prime wasn't the best, I feel as if they kind of fell off.. The Hostess wasn't the best she was quite rude and lying! the managers are great tho.. Made me wait longer than my reservation( 30 min more) which doesn't make sense because I wasn't on a wait list.
I Got the food it wasn't hot the fries were cold, steak wasn't even really warm but i didn't want to wait again for it, and the oysters felt as if they were frozen the only good thing I had was my drink and creamed spinach. Going somewhere for a celebration and spending a couple hundred atleast bring the food hot..

Wow! What an amazing experience I had! I came here for a work lunch and had a great time! I had made reservations prior to our visit just to be sure our party had seating. The moment we walked in the service was top notch. The waitperson was excellent and told us the specials and answered all our questions. I definitely recommend and hope to be back soon!

Great ambience, great service and great views.

Food is top notch , cocktails too, had a light dinner plus a few drinks here, the server Eric was helpful and top notch.

Definitely recommend this spot for a birthday or a date.
