Last night my fiance and I went to Posto Pazzo in Huntington for dinner. We made a same day reservation for 7pm on Open Table and in the comments put we were looking for a place to host our wedding (2nd for both of us, so not doing the big shabang this time). A waiter greeted us and asked if we wanted a glass of wine or cocktail as we were sitting down. I said we haven't seen the menu yet, and he left. A busser brought over a delicious bread basket. It would pair nicely with seasoned oil, but they gave (cold) pads of butter. We then waited about 10-15 minutes before the server came back and asked if we knew what we wanted. We ordered fried calamari (we get this almost everywhere we go), the Chicken Posto Pazzo (subbed pasta instead of mashed potatoes and vegetable) and the Homemade Rigatoni with misc seafood. The calamari was OK. Breading was nice, but it was a little tough. And for the price, we expected more. The chicken was tasty, too. The seafood in the rigatoni dish was whole, meaning he had to open the lobster parts himself, which was annoying. He also almost lost a tooth biting into something in the lobster. We then sat around for about 25 minutes, done with dinner, but no one came back. He checked on us once while we ate. The manager breezed by once as well when we were eating our appetizer. Our server came back and handed us dessert menus. We did want something, but decided we were done spending money there and just wanted to head home. Annoyed, he came back with the check. All in all, the food was OK, but we've had much better. We definitely aren't considering it for a celebration, as we'd want to feel appreciated for being there, not like another task on someone's to-do list. just feel like if I wrote that on the reservation and the manager/owner saw it as he checked it when we went in, they'd make it a point to wow us. I was in the restaurant business a long time, from server to assistant manager, and that's what I'd definitely do.

Small Italian restaurant in Queens, managed by an Italian-Piedmontese person who knows how to welcome his customers with a smile and knowing how to advise you, excellent cuisine, excellent table service (mainly the Sicilian girl). good pizza ?

Our son loves this place and decided they wanted the rehearsal dinner here.We walked in and was greeted by the owner Luigi who walked us through the entire process then we decided to sit down for dinner.Jose our waiter was amazing and the food was even better. When you get a chance don't walk but run to this place for the greatest italian food ever and don't forget to see JoseThank you all for the experience and looking forward to the party

From the time we walked in with our reservation, everything was excellent until the time we left. We started with drinks at the bar wonderful espresso martini and a beautiful glass of rosé wine. When we sat down, we had stuffed peppers, and a New Haven style Pizza both were great. Then for dinner we had a Chicken Milanese with rigatoni vodka and Burrata on top my wife had a swordfish with crab meat, stuffing both were wonderful . Service was great. Can't wait to go back again

Great dinner! Very cozy restaurant with great energy & warm fireplace! Lots of tables - couples, four tops, families & celebrations. Waiter was great - on point & funny. Bread basket was over the top - even rice balls! Food came quickly & was piping hot which was so nice on a cold night. Great wine ( special last night a tasty Rose) & fun drinks

Over the past year I have been to this restaurant about 10 times. The pasta entries are generally very good. Salads are good.e lol p If you order fish, verify first that it is fresh. The flounder is previously frozen and, in my opinion, it is not edible. The fresh fish items are $35-40 per entry. Do not order the crabcakes, they are 95 percent breadcrumbs.
