There are three sushi places on main. This is the best. Prices are reasonable, sashimi is excellent quality and care is taken when crafting each individual piece. Definitely our go-to spot!

This is the closest to Sushi in Japan that I have eaten in my area, Huntington, New York. I just returned from a two week trip in Japan. My first week back I went to umami sat at the sushi bar and my boyfriend and I had a nine course Omakase for 2, for under $130 total. The sushi chefs are very experienced and really present beautiful delicious sushi. We always sit at the sushi bar. I’m so glad they are here because everywhere else is trendy and good but not like Umami !! I feel everything there is very authentic.

Dare I say the best sushi in all of Huntington… and it is not even close. Somehow the sushi is beautifully presented, outrageously delicious and inexpensive. I wonder why it has taken me so long to write this review. I think it is because I want to keep this place to myself, but I no longer can. 10/10 every single time. Make sure to start with the spicy wontons.

I come here at least once a week for a reason, the sushi here is phenomenal. I usually give a full breakdown in my reviews however it is not needed here because I cannot find one bad thing to say about this spot. Food is to die for other than just the sushi, their kitchen is wonderful. Service is run by two of the sweetest people in the world and the chef here really knows what he’s doing. Wait staff is extremely good with kids, quick and patient.
Everytime I come here I can’t understand how little I’m paying for the quality of sushi and food that I am eating, seriously. See photo attached from my most recent visit, 5 stars all around and if you look at my other reviews, I only give 5 stars when it is truly deserved.

Fish is so fresh and the portions are very generous. This place is the real deal if you love fish and primarily eat nigiri and sashimi. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. One of the best sushi bars on Long Island! Prices are great too. We love Chef Sean and Jennifer! Kevin is great too! 😃
