Buffalo Quail is the nicest bridge between lowbrow & highbrow, but the delicately sweet finish of the sauce's flavor might be lost at your next Super Bowl party. The campus-brewed beer is quite refined, even the scotch ale that gives your taste buds a workout!

This was our second time at the Brew House. The group has had more experience in honing their skills and it shows. Basil was engaging as he took our order and the support group was attentive. The meal flowed nicely until dessert when the wait was long, by that time the dining room was full. The Belgium Wit beer was good, the trout pate and chips were delicious and the pork schnitzel very large and good as was the potato salad. The Eton Mess was a disappointment, a communion sized meringue a few fruit and some lovely sorbet was not even an Eton Mess deconstructed. Loved engaging with the students!
Delicious meal, excellently prepared and presented. Beers were good, salad fresh, fries perfect and hot and fish and chips and au poive burger sublime. Fabulous bread and dessert as well.
What an AMAZING experience we had at the Culinary Institute of America's Post Road Brew House!! So incredible to see all the students learning their craft in the kitchen and also the front of the house positions as waiters, runners and back waders. Truly amazing experience. The food was incredible and I loved talking to the students about their experience and where they want to go when they graduate. Our waiter, Hunter, was so professional. A magical place!! Can't wait to come back again.!!
This was our first visit to Post Road Brew House and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our servers were friendly and gave good advice, and our meals were delicious. One suggestion would be to add one or more ciders to the menu. There was an excellentFrench cider as a special item, but it seems to be a missed opportunity not to include some of the great cider being made in the Hudson Valley on the menu.
Exceptional experience and service. Food was terrific. Beer was good.

Service was good. Food was unremarkable. Crab nacho app was good. Fish and chips were sub par, not much flavor at all. The fries were good, but nothing exceptional or special. Presentation was average on main course. Cookie dessert variety was nice and presentation was great. The server we had was super friendly and a delight. This meal certainly doesn't make we want to rush back for another visit.
Some of our food was very good, particularly the schnitzel and pot roast. I did not like the paprika-based sauce that came with the schnitzel. Was not a fan of the kind of paprika they used. The servers were very attentive and professional. However, I was a bit surprised that they were dressed a little sloppily. Ordinarily I would not notice this kind of thing but since these are prospective chefs and restaurateurs I expected a little more attention to appearance. That said, our meal was good overall and I would definitely go back.

Wonderful food and service. My favorite CIA restaurant! Relaxed atmosphere with an outstanding, Well executed menu. We ordered far more than we could finish but so glad we were able to taste a lot of the menu. Wish I lived closer to eat there more often.
The food was excellent and so was the service. Interesting to talk to the students and learn about their studies and all the opportunities that are available in their programs . The presentation was great. We had 3 different meals and all were equally as good
Such a pleasure chatting with the students and learning about the delicious food from their perspective is a great way to start a meal! As the Post Road Brew House has limited openings, over the years we've had a hard time getting a seat! We weren't disappointed with having to wait. While the choices don't always suit one's palate, there was enough to choose from that we indulged in. Being a brew house, it was great to be able to sample and the flight ordered can be tailored to your preferences. The mixed drinks are well thought out and match the menu as well. The fish and chips were very tasty—we could have had a gallon of the aioli. My companion had the trout dip and deemed it a hit. Dessert was delicious for me as I had the cookies and milks. What a fun concept and to have eight different flavors of rather generous in size cookies was more like a sharing platter. The other dessert—the chocolate tart chosen—was on the ehhhh scale mostly because she felt it was too heavily doused with chocolate powder but she could have had more (and just) ice cream. That was a chocolate stout made with one of the beers. Sometimes the easiest and most simple should be on the menu!! No need to posh up ice cream ? Glad to have world class dining within ten minutes of home and see the future of America creating delicious mouth watering dishes!
I loved getting the flights of beer that the CIA had created. My burger was amazing!!! Remember, the waiters are learning the front of the house, so bring extra grace. I love it when they present the food because you can see their true passion!
Excellent experience. Wonderful, attentive service. Very good pub food: we had outstanding burgers, smoked trout dip, humus dip, crudités, a cookie and milk desert our youngsters loved, and nice if limited wine and drinks choices. Beer is the favorite here (it is a brew house). The CIA is a fun venue, with a lovely campus swarming with young students in cooks' attire.
