Jordan’s has been around for ages. But they are not resting on their laurels. The owner is always around, doing whatever needs to be done (whether it’s sweeping or taking care of a customer) to make all the moving parts of this operation run smoothly. And it shows ! The food is delicious and fresh - best seafood on the water - and the service was stellar. And the market is a must visit as well.

The Connecticut lobster roll was ok. It was dry and needed the melted butter on the side. The French fries are not hand cut. The key lime pie was okay - a good flavor with an interesting crust. The lobster roll is $40.

My partner and I came here for the first time excited to try the popular lobster rolls and naturally expected a bit of a wait due to it being a weekend. The very kind hostess told us it'd be a 50 minute wait to be seated indoors or we can be seated in the outdoor backyard bar area and served quicker. My partner and I chose the latter and didn't mind at all!
*However* once we were seated, it took at least 15 minutes for the waitress to take our order and from there we waited almost an HOUR and 15 minutes for our food when people seated AFTER us got their food very soon after they arrived. Couples, families of 4-6, all served much faster with better tableside manners/service than we were!!
Although race should not matter in this day and age, my boyfriend and I kept getting uncomfortable looks and stares as we were the only colored couple there. Our waitress did her best to give us updates and make sure we were okay, but she was heavily distracted dealing with one of the teenage employees/food runner.
Once we recieved our lobster rolls, the lobster was VERY chewy, stringy, hard and overcooked. The flavor was lacking and the fries were wayyy too oily. We wanted to like it but after waiting so long, we were let down. $100 down the drain and overhyped to say the least...

I visited Jordan Lobster today and, unfortunately, I was disappointed with the customer service.
From the moment we arrived, the host seemed uninterested in helping us and simply directed us to order at the window without any greeting or explanation. When we went to the ordering window, the staff member there had a similar attitude. We were left wondering if we had done something wrong because neither employee was welcoming or friendly.
Customer service is just as important as the food, and first impressions matter. I hope management provides additional customer service training so future guests feel welcomed and appreciated.

This lobster roll was one of the best I’ve ever had. Minus one point for seeing the expediter, who was maybe 18, eat someone’s fries right before serving it to them. The lobster roll itself and sweet potato fries were absolutely fab. So damn good. So fresh and nice generous portion
