“Anyone who stumbles across this restaurant should understand what it is and what it is not. It is a fast food adjacent joint, which means the food comes on the table a couple minutes after ordering. The food does not taste like it was just prepared — those reviews have accurately spoken. But was it tasty? Was it authentic? Yes— if my mother taught me anything. Was it wonderfully warming on a cold autumn day? Absolutely. And the Chinese pop songs softly playing in the background and the mere 15$ that a bowl costs felt good on my wallet.“
“I think we barely beat the dinner rush tonight. I had the tofu tom yum which was just spicy enough to get me ready for the pad see aew for my main. My partner started with crab rangoon and really enjoyed it. They had the pad kee mao with chicken and I I wished I had ordered it too. Overall it was a great dinner date and we plan on returning. Definitely vegetarian friendly.“
