It's been years since we've tried Taste of Thai. What we've been missing! Tonight we ordered (via takeout) and enjoyed an outstanding meal. The vegetables were crispy, fresh, and colorful. (No old soggy frozen, overcooked veggies. Yay!) Sauces were all tasty and perfectly spiced.Our next order later in the week was more ordinary. The veggies were not as plentiful and crisp, but we will try again for that perfect order.
We’ve been coming here for many years, but I’m really worried about this place. The food is still awesome and it’s our favorite Thai place in Ithaca, but they seem to be suffering from poor management the past few years, leading to longer wait times and a diminished experience. We had a delicious dinner and relaxing experience before a show at the State theater today. We shared crispy duck salad, nicely done, great flavor, and generous portion. We also enjoyed pad Thai with shrimp. But the star of the meal was the stir fry cashew chicken! Atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming.
