Wide Awake Bakery is a must stop in town, known for its excellent quality bread and pastry. The bread is excellent and super delicious, with the sourdough and Sunflower farmers loaf noted as particular favorites. All of their other baked goods are super yummy, including perfect croissants, very delicious Pan Suisse, and really very good sesame tahini cookies. The rotating focaccia is delicious and so flavorful. Every single item is made with serious dedication, care, and attention to detail.
The crew is always a pleasure, with staff described as super sweet, kind, and outstanding. They answer questions and never rush customers, even though there is usually a line waiting. The line can be long but it is totally worth it. The bakery itself is a beautiful space. For updates on specials and availability, their Instagram is a great resource, as they do not answer the phone.
