I really like the food.we were there late at night after the concert. The owner was humble enough to let us stay and have some food late. If you are Nepali who doesn't live in New York and miss home ,you should go there and feel some nepali vibes with lots of fellow Nepali.

Authentic Nepali restaurant with a true taste of home! I had the goat thali, which was a generous portion and absolutely delicious. The flavors brought back memories of Nepal, and the quality was spot-on. The restaurant itself has a cozy, Nepali-inspired decor that adds to the experience, and the staff was attentive and welcoming. There’s plenty of parking available, which made the visit even more convenient. The prices were reasonable for the quality and authenticity of the food. Definitely a place I’ll return to for a taste of Nepal.

Great food for good prices, everything I and everyone else ate was just amazing. The staff is also so so nice and friendly. Nothing else to say apart from that this is just such a gem of a place.

Food was okay, but was overpriced. I got a taash. The menu price was $18. With taxes, service fees and extra achaar ended up paying $30 in total. If you go there, be prepared to pay for extra fees. Ohh, I also didn’t include tips.

Gorkhali is an institution for me. I love the thali here the most--most out of all of Jackson Heights, and I've tried it at many. Their lentil soup in particular, I love that the flavor is deep but not greasy/buttery. Their goat buttan is always a standout. Also, extremely sweet servers that remember us and our order! On the weekend, they also have live music.

My first meal upon returning to NYC is always here because it is that good y'all. Everything on the menu is worth trying. I'll highlight the goat bhuttan, the pork, and the fish. The momo is also hard to beat (especially jhol momo). The portion is great and the service is always A+. I hope Gorkhali stays with the neighborhood for a long time!!!!
