The bagels are mushy, bread-like, and not real NY bagels. Bagel aficionados should not come here. Other than the bagel problem, everything else seems great here. My order was carefully executed. They followed my instructions perfectly.

The food is okay. It's like Bodega food with more variety a a tad bit better.
Service is dry an unwelcoming. Feels like I'm a nuisance to them trying to order food. Attitude doesn't just fall on those providing the service, it falls in the owner. Perhaps staff is unappreciated and overworked. It always starts at the top.
Disappointed by the debit and credit card service charges. They make enough money.
I used to order from them 1-2 times a week but now I go there only when needed.
They could do better and represent the neighbor better. Too bad they don't.

Service is terrible. The employees who work here are really cold and not friendly. I used to go 3-5 times a week in the morning for months, ordered the same exact same thing every morning, and saw the same employees. They never got nicer and never bothered smiling or an attempt at remembering my name or order. I got fed up with trying to support local business and now I go to Starbucks where the baristas are much friendlier. Maybe because K&L is an institution in Jackson Heights but they lost my business. Don't take my business for granted, you still have to be nice. Great coffee, average breakfast selections, poor customer service.
Consistently delicious, I usually come for the breakfast wraps. They can do any of the omelettes in a wrap. Very flexible, lots of options, and affordable. Best deli in the neighborhood imo.
