Pretty good tibetan restaurant but wish they would be more consistent. I have been getting same dishes almost every two weeks, but they taste differently. I love when the chili chicken is very crispy
I changed my rating to 2 stars. I was so disappointed with the glass noodle soup i got today. it was literally water with white noodles, no spices and one tofu and bokchoy in it. No ear mushrooms, peppers, potatoes. Terrible!

Service is friendly and basically prompt.
I loved the beef and chive momos; it’s the best momos I’ve had in New York City and I’ve tried a lot in Jackson Heights and Woodside.
I thought their laping was a bit dull/bland, but because their service was good and their momos were good, I’ll definitely come back again to try other dishes.
The thukpa was tasteless…save yourself more than $10! It was very little glass noodles and seemed like a premade soup from a package….

A very simple, good authentic Tibetan food. I was passing by the restaurant and I wanted to try a good soup. I had the TIBETAN
NOODLE SOUP
Beef and chives dumpling in soup with bok choy, ear mushroom and glass noodle, which was rich, delicious, full of flavors and spicy 🌶️ as I love spicy 🌶️ good. The beef was tender and savory. The staff were welcoming and the place is warm and clean. I’ll come back for the MOMO’s.

Our server was so sweet and attentive.
It was our first time trying Tibetan food and we liked it. the flavors are comforting and our picks were not spicy.
This restaurant is a great place if you are looking for something casual where you can easily talk with your friends, family etc

Yellow Laphing 1/10: no flavor and felt like I was eating a uncooked dough
Beef Momo 3/10: not sure if this was a different style of momo but meat looked really red and tasted weird; unlike usual JH Tibetan Momo
Service girl 2/10; her facial expression and service felt like she was giving us a free food.
Chicken Noodle Soup 7/10: was good after adding more salt

Nestled quietly in Jackson Heights, Lhasa Tibetan Restaurant offers authentic Tibetan flavors without breaking the bank. Their beef momos are amazing—and worth seeking out just for those alone. The menu is straightforward, the portions satisfying, and the experience feels like a well-kept secret among food lovers. Highly recommend for a warm, homey bite.

Potato momos were great
The veg thenthuk tasted really good, went for the fried one instead of the soup
Was a bit hot inside AC didn’t seem like it was running, food was great though

**Disappointing Experience at Lhasa Tibetan Restaurant and Bar**
I had high hopes for Lhasa Tibetan Restaurant and Bar, but my experience was extremely disappointing. While I was enjoying my meal, I found a cockroach in my momo. It was utterly revolting!
The restaurant was dimly lit, but even then, cleanliness should never be compromised. When I informed the staff, they were shockingly nonchalant about the situation, offering only a weak apology and no attempt to remedy the situation properly. This incident raised serious concerns about the hygiene standards of the place.
I can’t bring myself to return after such an experience, and I strongly urge others to reconsider dining here if cleanliness matters to you.
Excellent Tibetan food here. I’m a fan of the chili beef and the chili chicken. Of course you can’t go wrong with Momo. I like the atmosphere with music videos from Tibet and a picture of the Dalai Lama. Plenty of seats at the restaurant. If you are in Jackson Heights, you must try it.

Lhasa Fast Food is the perfect antidote to a dreary day. Their warm, inviting atmosphere creates a cozy escape from the cold. The food is absolutely fantastic! The chicken momo, lamb thenthuk, and beef chili are must-tries. This is my go to place whenever I am craving for momo. I was pleasantly surprised to find halal meat options, which is great for the neighborhood. To top it off, they offer a decent selection of beer and cocktails. If you're craving authentic Nepali cuisine, this is my spot. Highly recommended!

First time having fried momos and I really enjoyed them. Ordered beef and potato and they almost sort of remind me of a happy medium between a fried dumpling and fried wanton. The potato ones almost remind me of a ting kinish thats doughier and a crispier shell. Absolutely amazing and I was surprised how full I was after only having a couple. Will most definitely be ordering again. I also look forward to coming back with my mom and dad because I think they would enjoy them alot.
