exactly what you want from a takeout NY pizza spot: good sauce & cheese with a standout crust, and a nice variety of toppings if you call ahead for a pie. service is quick and they're usually good with their timing estimates for pickup.
At first glance, this place looks small and unassuming. Little do people know: it’s the best pizza in NYC. I’ve lined up at L’industrie and the like and they pale in comparison to Lucia Pizza. The staff is always very kind and go above and beyond. The prices are very affordable too, especially the student special. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Lucia Pizza is a neighborhood spot serving great classic pizza. The pizza is always so fresh, and the staff is super nice. It is one of the best pizzas in a 9 mile radius, better than Due Fratelli, Champions, and the Sisters. This is New York pizza, an authentic New York slice. The pizza is perfect for those who like crispy pizza. A huge classic triangle shaped slice of pepperoni is only $4, and it comes out all melted and fresh. The garlic knots are so good. The dough is delicious, and the service impeccable. The restaurant is spacious enough to sit down and enjoy a slice, and it is always clean and well kept. There is a great weekday lunch special. Amazing pizza for the price.
