Just left the Air India Lounge at JFK Terminal 4 and I’m genuinely impressed by how little it offered.
No atmosphere. No food worth mentioning. No wine. And no ice, which is honestly a new low for a lounge.
When asked about it, staff shrugged and blamed “delivery problems” with no apology, no smile, nothing. Everyone looked like they’d been slapped with a wet fish and told to get on with it.
If you’re thinking of going in… don’t. Avoid at all costs.
Air India, shame on you.

The absolute worst! We had a long layover at JFK - my toddler got a little sick and threw up at the table. One of the service staff comes up to me and asks me to clean it up in the middle of us getting our kids clothes changed.

Wow. Hands-down the best airport lounge food I've ever had. Great Indian food, healthy snacks, delicious desserts, wine & beers, you name it. Beautiful presentation of all the foods. No messes and actual gastronomic artistry on display.
Immaculate bathroom, quiet & clean lounge area, chill atmosphere throughout. A hidden gem tucked away near the elevator & across the hall from the Virgin Atlantic lounge. Way, way better than another lounge downstairs we checked out in terminal 4.
Chairs could be more comfortable and air conditioning could be better, but still my favorite lounge ever and hoping to check out others belonging to Air India in the future!

Adequate space to take a break before flying. Indian food buffet is good. A modest lounge, not large.
its located at gate A between gate no. 5 and 6. you have to go upstair to access the lounge. if you have an international lounge access credit card then you can use that here. overall small and sweet.

Limited option and very small lounge. Even though u r flying business and paid same amount compared to others airlines, lounge will make u feel poor it downgrades the feeling. Air India, only God knows when it will improve.
It's a wonderful lounge with varied food selections, which include both American & Indian cuisine. The food is quite tasty. Their staff is very courteous, friendly and helpful.
It's conveniently located right above the boarding gate where Air India flights usually depart from.

This lounge was very crowded during our visit, but the staff truly made a difference. They were attentive, friendly, and constantly on the move — keeping the space tidy and checking in on things, which we really appreciated.
The food is solid, especially if you enjoy Indian cuisine. While the selection isn’t huge (as is common in smaller lounges), it’s more than enough for a quick meal or snack.
Comfort-wise, it’s decent. The seats are fine for sitting, but don’t expect large sofas or a space where you can stretch out or take a nap. Overall, it’s not the most relaxing lounge, but the helpful staff and decent food make it a worthwhile stop if you’re passing through.
