Went for the oxtail, but they were out of them early. I guess that means they are goid. I like the goat curry. It is flavorful with a bit of bite. I like really spicy, but my stomache no longer likes spicy. Getting old sucks. This would make a good lunch gor me. Those that want more spice, ypu can always add their habernero hot sauce. They only have room for a few seats if you want to dine in.

Went for the first time today and tried their Jerk Chicken with Mac and cheese and rice and peas. So good! The chicken has a great balance of flavor and spice. I also added some curry goat gravy over the rice which really sent the meal over the top. Will definitely go more often since it’s near my school.

They serve fresh, well-seasoned, Caribbean food that is not too salty and never overcooked. And they serve it with a smile. The staff are warm and welcoming, and they make you feel like you are at home.

Very good food and tastes great all day. Had a meal to go at 7pm and it was good. Other places stop making food by then and let it sit.

Just started working in the area and I have been looking for a Caribbean restaurant that I can get breakfast and lunch at. The area is full of mostly Jamaican restaurants, but for a good fry bake, curry, doubles, cook up/pelau, oil down, etc ; you can’t go there. A coworker told me “check Alexis, it’s Guyanese so it doesn’t have certain stuff but it has the majority.” I’m extremely happy I did! The customer service is wonderful, the restaurant is over and beyond the cleanest I’ve seen in the area, and my breakfast (fry bake & saltfish) was heavenly!!!! The bake was a great golden color, fluffy & light not tuff & tight, NOT GREASY, and delicious!!! The saltfish wasn’t to salty, wasn’t dry, wasn’t oily, WAS A NICE COLOR, WAS A PERFECT BALANCE OF FISH AND ONION/TOMATO, SMELLS GREAT, TASTE DEVINE. I’m a foodie so I have to go into deep detail. I’ll let you know about the lunch I preordered later.

We visited Alexis Caribbean Cuisine randomly and it seems to be popular in the neighborhood. The portion was great with reasonable price and we love both Jerk Chicken & Oxtail so much. The chicken was tender, juicy and perfect with rice.I personally love their Oxtail so much. The meat was fresh and chewy with appetizing sauce. We were surprised about Alexis Caribbean Cuisine with its taste and price.
