Ordered a beef bowl because they don’t do rolls for people like me that are allegic (shell fish) for their bento box, so I asked for the “beef” they gave me something that looked more like pork, so if you can’t eat pork be aware. The lady at the register was very rude even though I asked her nicely. Even if the answer was no they are ways to answer your customers.

It tastes like wing bong, which is commonly eaten in the United States. However, while I was waiting after ordering takeout, a black employee saw me and called me “yellow” and “wookkikkikki”, making racial discrimination. Not worth $33.

Of course it was a premium price, but the quality of the sushi was decent. I just wish there was more of a selection. There was only spicy California rolls available and we got lucky that he was making some salmon avocado rolls. It was about 6 PM dinner time so you would think they had more to offer.

To get a bento box or sushi at an airport that's made in front of you is well worth it. Very popular ‼️

I was looking for a quick stop during my layover here at JFK and while the sushi was alright I think I would have done better elsewhere. The food was pretty good though there was at least one chewy bit in the Alaskan Salmon spicy rolls I got. That aside the taste was fine. Nothing you couldn't get at the grocery store. Of course, being trapped in Terminal 4 you get by with what you've got.The service was solid, no complaints and I got my food quick. The ambiance is airport hallway. Really nothing else to say there.I'll update you if I wake up yacking on my flight to Dublin.

I grabbed a quick bite to eat in Terminal 4 of JFK. Typically, I *love* all-you-can-eat sushi, and I get a craving for raw salmon, so I gave in and picked up a premade sushi tray.Food: Salmon Samurai Combo*Sigh* For $18.50 ($16.99+NY tax), I received 8 pieces of sushi that had been hand-made fresh, that morning. (For reference, I had this at 6 PM). - The salmon was thickly sliced (which would have been pleasing in some restaurants), but it had lost some of its texture.- The avocados didn't have any hint of browning, which was good.- The rice was not tender and definitely out for a lot of the day, even in the fridge.Service- Unfortunately, I probably caught them on a bad day. Even though there was almost no line (one person was in front of me, and one behind me), the server was very curt and impatient. (In comparison, other places around, like Shake Shack had about 20-30 people lined up).Ambiance:- It was literally just a grab & go place with a few other options. Conclusion:I've had better supermarket sushi for much cheaper prices. At more than $3 a piece this was very disappointing.Verdict: 1 star.

Yeahhhh no. Meh food. The beef felt like it should be in a pot pie not paired with Sushi lol. Literally every other bento box places I've been to have been better food for loads of money cheaper. 16$ for a half-decent box (granted it is in an airport)...

I ate one of their meals there a few days ago. At the time, I thought the salmon looked very odd indeed - neither "sushi quality" nor cooked but something in between. But I ate it anyway.Back home, about 12 hours later, I had the most appalling diarrhoea - probably the worst I've ever had - and my stomach still isn't right.Obviously, I'm not saying it was my meal from Bento Sushi - it could have been either of the meals I had on my flight back home. I'd like to make that very clear. But then I see complaints of raw chicken ("Literally raw chicken. Horrible." - with photo! - and "Chicken seemed undercooked and I didn't dare to try it.") and the like from other diners, plus quite a new very negative reviews and that got me thinking.Perhaps I'll be invited to "reach out to us" but given there's been a succession of complaints, I'm not sure it would make much difference!

Surprisingly the sushi is decent, of course expensive, but it's the airport. I had it twice and didn't get sick, so that's super plus. I would splurge on the combo and stick to water. The other items don't seem to be worth the price, other than the main.

Sushi was okay - only decent food place we found in T4. We were looking for something cleaner and easy to eat.
