Honestly, I was skeptical because of the one star reviews, but I was hungry and my flight was in 2 hours. I gave this place the benefit of doubt and I’m glad I did. Their chicken Milanese sandwich is very tasty. Chips could use some more salt, but yeah service was fast. I also ordered two drinks ( beer and negroni) and it came in under two minutes of me ordering. Maybe some days they have off days, but I’m very happy with my meal and I recommend you try it because everything...
The food here was good, but the menu options were very limited. To me, it was a basic place with basic service. You know it's basic when the name of the place comes up for ratings and you have to really think about when you were there (it was only about 3 weeks ago)....speaks volumes. Good food, but I don't think I'll be back.
All was exactly as promised - fantastic service (very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about the menu/bar options); comfortable, delicious hamburger and perfect fries! And brussel sprouts with tahini were excellent starter. We have been to many, many, many of NYC's hamburger spots, from holes in the wall to white napkin/tablecloth dining - Brindle Room's burger is among the best.
