The food can’t be beat! We ordered catering for a work holiday party and everyone loved the food. The flavor, the portions, the packaging, it was top tier from start to finish!

The henny wings and Rasta pasta with oxtail gravy best in the world imo. If I was rich I’d be here every day.

Food okay can't really complain. Don't like the fact that this and the other one on Springfield Ave seem to have a problem with using the tongs when serving patties

The food in this place is delicious but their biggest down fall is the people in it, these so call ladies be having the nastiest attitude like somebody pissed in their cereal in the morning .the first time I came there was a lady that treated me alright and then I I came in for a second time and this older lady had the meanest attitude she told me that she was not putting extra plantains on my plate because she already put 2 plantains and if I wanted one more I had to order 8 more pieces separately like seriously what kind of daughter of a ? gone say that to a client !! mind you the first time I went in I spent $50 and I was willing to spend another 50 the second time and the lady treated me horribly so I walked out my whole point is if I’m paying my money why are you clocking how much food I want or should get ?? like you’re the one that’s ordering the food and paying . Very unprofessional these ladies need to leave their problems at home and not bringing the attitude with it to their jobs cause that’s how you lose clients !! Would never go back there . there are so many Jamaican restaurants like this one or even better that for sure won’t treat their customers the way that the lady treated me and I’m pretty sure it was also jelousy she sensed I was a pretty sweet girl so she had to come off that way to boost her ego!!!

They food is ok, and I never had any major issue. The service, on the other hand, is iffy sometimes great sometimes meh. However, we're humans, and working with the public can be a hard task sometimes, so all in all, good spot to get some food.

I will not revisit this store again, the customer service is so poor.. Last week Friday I was at the Rockaway location waiting to be served and the staff was arguing right in front of us, the lady in a yellow shirt and a big body black girl In blue shirt but the girl in the blue shirt was behaving as if it was her enemy she was speaking to due to her boisterous behaviour.

And why the staff has to be moving so fast? For when we ask them questions they can't even stand properly to take their time and answer us without being yelled at to “move fast and serve someone else”

I used to buy at other locations too but this one changed my mind due to the loud bantering and their impatience to take their time and properly service a customer for the rush is too extreme even when the place isn't full. Even my cousins noticed that and buy somewhere else.

It's funny that Google asks me for a review when I just had a bad experience today. The server was visibly upset when I had questions about the menu slapping the dish on her side. Bad enough I only went to her because the other server, one of the only two worker there at closing today had issues when I ordered the same meal previously. It seems like you can't get good food and good service these days it's either one or the other. Not all of the staff is this way, but it seems if you go during the evening or so for a meal for a party of 4 or more, then it's a problem. Her coworker mumbled something in her ear before all this behavior so I wouldn't be surprised if there was a transfer of spirit that caused her to act this way. Either way I told her to come back tomorrow with a beer attitude and left. I get that you had a long day, I get that you deal with irrate people all day long, but it isn't fair to a customer that had nothing to do with those before them and I'll gladly take my business up the road.

Brown Stew chicken, oxtail, and rasta pasta and the ginger/pineappleis what I always come here for. It's delicious, but if you're not early enough, the stew chicken can be gone.
