The owners are very friendly and phenomenal, cooking with love, passion, and pride. The menu changes everyday, so calling ahead is recommended. The food is fresh, soulful, not overly salty, and packed with taste. Favorites include the phenomenal curry goat, jerk chicken, and grand salt fish. The daal, chickpeas, fantastic pepper sauce, roti, and bake are also delicious, fresh, and hearty. Some notes that the duck curry contains bone shards and innards, which can be unexpected. The rice & beans are great. It is considered the best West Indian and Caribbean restaurant in the area for authentic, at-home flavor, and is definitely worth checking out in Jamaica, Queens.
