They charged $14 for some cookies that were labeled as $6 on the shelf.When I complained about it (and showed this picture), the barista said she "scanned it" and "there was nothing she could do". Also, she said it "wasn't her fault". Apparently you have to double-check your total or they will overcharge you.

Customer service is not great. They're very slow, seemingly occupied doing other things. I waited in line over 20 minutes. I ordered an iced tea and a croissant. I was told, "We don't sell iced tea." I pointed out that it's prominently displayed on every sign. She shrugged. I just looked at her (I think I was expecting some sort of acknowledgement of the misrepresentation... nope). On a positive note, the croissant was fresh.Note to management: you may want to create signs that advertise items you actually sell.

The cheese danish was pretty good (tasted surprisingly fresh), just the cashier that was helping me didn’t know what any of the baked goods on display were and had to ask her coworker. The coworker that knew what the baked goods were was nice, the one checking me out acted like it was exhausting that I had to ask… even though she herself didn’t know. The line did not move fast.I got a packaged chai protein smoothie as well from the fridge, can’t remember the brand but it was really good for a commercially made smoothie. In general I was impressed with the selection of packaged snacks here, but of course it’s airport prices.

Very bad and burned coffee. The pastries are very low quality. I’d expect a better service and higher quality products for 2 18-dollar coffees.Unfortunately, there aren’t many options in JFK.

2 cashiers on their cell phones. We waited 2 minutes and I finally had to say hi. They were not quick to stop and help us. We finally told them we wanted a Cappachino. She looked at the "trainee" and said she will get you and went back on her phone. A third employee walks over with food and another customer and steps in front of us and proceeds to check her out. No one said a word. We turned and left with nothing and were still ignored. Welcome to NYC right?

Warm bottled water- not offered one that was refrigerated or ice. Cinnamon roll was delicious. Woman at the counter was not friendly in the least. No hello, no thank you.

I waited in line for 10 minutes and when I asked for a mocha, I was told the line after me was too long and I can only have regular coffee. When the two people before me had lattes. Never heard of that as a reason to not serve a person.

Went to get coffee and they said they're only doing brew coffee. The espresso machine is there and working with multiple employees present. Not sure why but this seems to be a trend at this place in the mornings. I give up and am not going back anymore.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The lady working at the front on December 3rd, 2022 at around 5:00pm was the most rude person I have ever met. She had no customer service skills. Not to mention any skill of working at a cafe at all. We ordered two chamomile medley’s and she did not properly close one. When I picked it up it exploded on my hand. A tea that is extremely hot, and burned my hand making it throb. Extremely painful. Would never return or recommend to anyone. Do yourself a favor and skip going here while you’re at JFK airport.

the ladies working here were so rude, for no reason. I treated them with respect, said please, thank you, and had no attitude towards them. they also had nothing available that was on their menu, and had an attitude with me, and acted like I was the inconvenience…. for asking for items shown on THEIR menu. I just wanted an iced chai and toast.

Giving it one star as the coffee was decent. Horrible service! Unbelievably rude for no apparent reason.The woman did not ask me how I wanted my coffee and did not allow me to let her know, she walked away and brought me black coffee. When I asked for milk and creamer for my coffees, she responded “I’m not a mind reader” and proceeded to ignore me and would not give me milk or creamer.

Menu isn't correct, no toast only available items like a convenient store. Cashier not friendly and acted very annoyed that I asked questions about the items that were available...muffins ONLY!
