Always a lovely experience at Sherwood House. The fire is always delightful, especially when the weather is frightful lol. But seriously, the wine is great, the staff, the ambiance. Always at the top of our list to visit.
I gave this winery 3 stars only for their sparking wines; they are perfect! I had visited a few times with friends but the most recent time my husband and I felt very unwelcome. We had our infant with us. Before even entering the building the manager told us that the stroller cannot come in (which I understand). Stopped in with my wife on a busy fall day after picking up a Christmas tree down the road. The tasting room was packed but we were quickly seated despite not having a reservation. The afternoon crowd was cozied up by the fireplace, in the atrium or really any alcove that was habitable. The ambiance is French farmhouse and it’s executed to perfection. Service was impeccable.
