Based on the reviews, Encore is a restaurant in downtown Jamestown that offers excellent meals and an enjoyable experience. The food is absolutely delicious, with fresh warm bread and olive oil to start. Specific meals mentioned include the vodka pasta, steak sandwich with a stuffed pepper, chicken florentine, chicken alfredo with a super dense sauce, cheese ravioli in pesto, and a caprese salad. Desserts are to die for. The service is very good, with incredibly friendly wait staff, though it can be a little slow when busy. The restaurant has backlit menus, which is a great idea for a sometimes dimly lit space. It can get very busy and noisy, which is a good sign for a small town restaurant. Three drinks, an appetizer, and two meals for under $100 is hard to find these days. Overall, Encore is a wonderful, quaint new favorite spot in Jamestown.
