La Scala has a new bar menu with $5 food on it that will not disappoint. Humongous salads, homemade soups, loaded fries and my favorite, the bacon topped macaroni and cheese. It can’t be beat and domestic beer is only $3. I think the strip steak is $8 and you can’t go wrong there either. Try the bar menu, but remember that you have to eat at the bar, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised at all of the homemade goodness!
Normally very good food. I had the Beef Tips Burgandy and they no longer serve this with rice. While tasty the mash potatoes were running making this more like a heavy soup. The service was a little slow but it was busy and the staff were working hard. The other issue was the AC was in overdrive and customers were wearing jackets, sweaters and one little girl even was wrapped up in a blanket. Best food ever. Felt close to being a michelin star restaurant. The food was rich in taste and fresh. The owner was really friendly and my 5 year old son enjoyed seeing the lobsters inside the tank. We got picked up and dropped off from our hotel. Beatiful restaurant.
