“Hands down the best breakfast we have ever had! I had the Spanish omelet with a filling of peppers, onions, salsa and spices which I could have eaten by the bowl, homemade raisinbread and potatoes. I don't know who is back there cooking, but they sure know what they're doing!! Friendly staff!”

Looks like I’ll be making a the hour and a half round trip drive again soon! The breakfast sausage is also very tasty! Not to mention the people behind the counter were super friendly and happy to be there!”

“I do love to share my travel finds.. This place!!!! The coffee pot Rt 10 in Hobart... An absolute DELIGHT. The owners were OUTSTANDING this little eaterie boasts old world charm, yesteryear is the word that comes to mind. From the moment you walk in you feel like HOME. Thank you for taking such good care of me yesterday I was chilled to the bone after showings I just finished hiking a huge beautiful farm... That I LOVE!! and this lovely place offered me the break and recharge I needed to keep on keeping on. Fabulous ( skinny girl Egg white omelet)to go and then when I finished eating it in my truck in the parking lot the owner was taking out HIS garbage and walked over and took mine too. Lol. SUPER SWEET PEOPLE AND WORTH PUTTING IT ON YOUR LIST OF GO TO PLACES. Eat and shop local, we have tons of treasures in Upstate and I love sharing them with you. Let's see what Sundays travels bring today.”

“Swung by Jack's for some lunch on a drive down route 7, headed toward Albany on a cool October day. Decent atmosphere,  mostly locals. Nice staff and a sizable menu at a typical price for the area. I had the haddock sandwich with chips and my wife had the BLT with a side of the chilli. Their chips are made in-House and they offer flavors (salt n pepper, vinegar,  etc.) It was basically a one-man show that day and he kept up very well to a near full houes, acting as bartender, waiter, cook and server. Quite impressive. The food was good and filling, we would definitely stop by on our way through in the future.”

“As an app we got the chicken wings which were perfectly crispy. Then I had the meatloaf which was incredible, the green beans were cooked to perfection and the mashed potatoes were delicious. The staff was attentive and the fellow dinners were so friendly.”

“My family and I love to come to Macadoodles and support small business, but there has got to be a better way to handle to go orders. Take my card over the phone, or something. I should not have to wait in line behind everyone else for 20 minutes to pay for my food and pick it up when I can see it sitting under the warmers the whole time. This is the whole point of a TO GO order. So beyond frustrating! EDIT: I had all this time to write the review while in line and even called and the staff is beyond rude. It doesn’t take 3 people to make ice cream. I said screw the food and hung up. I will never be back to Macadoodles. Absolutely 0/10 business practice. Their staff has always been horribly rude but at least their food was good. Oh well. Onto the next!”

“Just stopped in yesterday for the first time in about 10 years. I spent many years skiing in the area and this bar was always the last stop when the Belvedere closed. I met some great people while I was there and felt welcomed right away. It’s a great place and I will be stopping again when I’m back in the area. Glad to see it has re opened.”

“I beat their numerous times and the first couple times I hate there it was not bad and as years have gone on the food has just gotten worse and worse and it just went there day and the pizza sucked I ended up throwing it away it was that bad and to have screwed up my order numerous times so I would not recommend going there”

“New owners, new recipes. I heard some grief locally and decided to check out the new setup. We get our usual dishes so I can't comment on everything, but the sweet and sour chicken was tasty. The sauce was very good. The egg rolls seem the same. My wife gets the beef and broccoli with extra brown sauce and she likes it better than the previous. The thing that I was impressed by was the Hot and sour soup. It was loaded with mushrooms and tofu, thick broth, just delicious. I think we like it better.”
