The owner believes that it’s the sauce that matters. Unfortunately for me, the hot dog, the bun and the condiments matter, and they fall way short. The hot dog is pork and something, but it certainly doesn’t have a good beefy taste or any snap. It tasted like a bar-s 20¢ hotdog, except I just paid 4 bucks and change. The food was great! We had a couple of chili cheese dogs with onions, a drink, and some fires. The atmosphere was a bit retro/nostalgic. It was kind of like stepping back in time. The service was very FAST but friendly! The only possible issue with this place is that it only accepts cash, no credit/debit cards.
Best chili dogs you're going to find, both in Broome County and beyond. I have been searching high and low for chili dogs around the country that have a better flavor that the dogs at Tony's Texas Hots, and I still have yet to find anything that comes close.
