We picked this spot on a trip, for a hot dog adventure. We were not disappointed. The dogs with meat sauce were fantastic. He needs more customers in this old mill town. Stop by and grab some food.
The owner believes that it’s the sauce that matters. Unfortunately for me, the hot dog, the bun and the condiments matter, and they fall way short. The hot dog is pork and something, but it certainly doesn’t have a good beefy taste or any snap. It tasted like a bar-s 20¢ hotdog, except I just paid 4 bucks and change. The sauce as they call it, is chili. Again, meh. Average. Didn’t taste any better than canned stuff. I can’t say for sure if they make their own, but the...
The food was great! We had a couple of chili cheese dogs with onions, a drink, and some fires. The atmosphere was a bit retro/nostalgic. It was kind of like stepping back in time. The service was very FAST but friendly! The only possible issue with this place is that it only accepts cash, no credit/debit cards.
