I celebrated my birthday lunch here with a friend. It was a pleasure to spend time here. My friend had a Caesar salad with salmon and I had the salmon with delicious vegetables. We had apple crisp with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Our server, Candice was attentive and Carol, a server I have had before, was very welcoming.Highly recommend.

Had a great lunch at The Whitlock this afternoon! Delicious burger, chicken sandwich and apple crisp. Nice atmosphere, even on a gray Saturday, and the place was hopping right as soon as it opened. The food was excellent and the service was okay. My table had a few of the starters and got. Selection of entrees. The cinnamon rolls were delicious and the biscuits were so buttery! Really top tier.
The things that were not so great - the inside was a bit small and very loud even though there weren’t many folks inside. Then there was a swarm of flies inside that were persistent and kept landing on the food and people inside. It was really gross. I know pests can be hard to control but it really takes away from the dining experience.
First time I came here I couldn’t believe how great the food is The pork chop melted in your mouth. The pasta was so delicious. I’m gonna make it my regular place for me and my honey and the bar great I recommended you won’t regret

The food was delicious, their French onion soup was the best I’ve ever had and my wife loved her salad. For dinner I had the ribeye, which had great aged flavor and my wife had the pasta special which she loved. On the negatives, the marrow bone in the soup was kind of cold so the marrow was like eating a hunk of cold butter. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was more medium, but everything was still delicious. The noise level was off the charts, it’s a busy bar and was as loud as a frat party, that was annoying.
