I stopped at the Whitlock for dinner last week on my way from the city to Connecticut and was so happy that I did! I sat outside because I had my dog with me and the restaurant could not have been more accommodating; they sat me next to a heat lamp and brought a bowl of water for my dog. I got the lentil vegetable soup special and the roasted cauliflower salad with shrimp added, both of which were excellent. My server, Carol, was kind, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Altogether a great experience; I look forward to dining there again soon!

This is a nice little spot across from the train station. Food was good not great and took awhile to come out but it's a nice spot to meet a friend and have a drink.

Atmosphere is fun, staff are kind. But the food is just fine, when prices suggest it should be special / great. Nice if you're in the area but not worth a trip.

This was our second time at this establishment and it will be our last. We came for lunch today with 4 people. On the good side: The food was good (but not great). They are dog friendly and we sat outside in the patio. My wife had scallops and French onion soup. I had the pulled pork sandwich. On the bad side: Halfway through the meal I found a six inch long hair in my food. A few minutes later my wife found a curly short hair in her soup. I am nearly 70 and in my life, I have found a few, but two in one day, that's not good odds, nor a good indication of the kitchen hygiene. We informed the waiter about both cases of hair in the food. Yet, nobody seemed to care. We care. Something is obviously wrong in this restaurant, behind the closed door of the kitchen. We will not trust them again. To make matters worse, delivery truck parked right behind us and was idling loudly for more than a half hour. Long after the delivery, the driver stayed in the truck eating. The staff never concerned themselves with this. It was loud and annoying, for all guests who sat outside, but the staff did not care. Those two things combined ruined our enjoyment, and definitely our trust.

Really cute restaurant. Very friendly service. I was dyyyying to try their French Onion Soup and it lived up to the hype. Really loved the bread pudding dessert. Boyfriend has the duck and it was very good. I had a chicken Cesar salad which was fine - it's a salad lol.

Love the Nantucket-like vibe. Service was great. Food even greater. Had the brussel sprouts, scallops, mussels, fish tacos, thai vegetables with jasmine rice and spinach and artichoke dip - all appropriately prepared and delicious.
I love this place
The bacon burger is absolutely delicious! According to the owner, it's the house specialty — and it really lives up to it. Great flavor, generous portion, and a fair price. Definitely 100% recommended.
The service was excellent, and the place is comfortable — perfect for chatting and enjoying your meal.

This place is so nice! The decoration is beautiful. The bartender was so nice and made us amazing espresso martinis. The skewers special was our favorite!!!! Would def recommend this place and will def be back again!
Went with about 11 friends on a Sunday for brunch. Carol, our waitress was the best very accommodating. I had the breakfast burrito, which was absolutely delicious and a cup of tea. Everyone else had the grilled chicken sandwich or burger. Or salad. I was only able to take a few pictures, but I love this bistro.!
Great ribeye steaks and Prime rib. Friendly service and very fair prices.
Good place to hang out and food was good. Earlier reservations will be preferable.
this is our favorite restaurant in Katonah but I forgot to take pictures until recently. We have had their brunch a couple of times, all delicious. They rotate the menu often so we always find new things to try. In summer times, they allowed us to sit outside with our dog. Last night we had the special lobster Pappardelle. it was perfectly cooked, fresh, little creamy and generous portion - they gave you the whole lobster tail! We also shared a refreshing salad and some truffle fries. We were very full but we couldn’t resist the NY style cheesecake with blueberry compote. It was the right amount of sweetness. The service was attentive and warm. We love this place!
