The burgers were great! The blue cheese was just right- didn’t swallow the taste of the meat. Service was excellent and the view really lovely
Besides the staff always friendly. The view on the lake is beautiful. I absolutely love the seafood arrabiata and goat cheese and beet salad. The seafood dish is organic pasta, spicy San marzano tomatoes, calamari, scallops and shrimp. The salad is fresh beets, goat cheese, bib lettuce and a vinaigrette dressing. Who would have guessed a pub on a lake in the Catskills would have a seafood pasta dish that could rival any top notch Italian restaurant anywhere in the world.
This is one of the few spots in the area that stays open year-round. The atmosphere is great and the views are beautiful, but the food and service can be inconsistent. Our biggest concern, though, is the drinking water — it has an unpleasant taste. We’ve mentioned it politely on several visits, and while the staff always apologizes, nothing ever changes. It leaves us worried about the quality and safety of the water.
