“Growing up in a Polish family and having my Grandmother's home made perogies at Christmas time is a childhood memory I try to recapture every year. My Grandmother has passed and I am constantly on the hunt for pierogi that are just like hers. Helena's is as close as I can get. They are made with love, by hand and with care. You meet Helena's mom working the counter and feel the genuine and heartfelt concern, not only for the food they make but for you their customer. I make a trip, over an hour, at least twice a year and load up on the best tasting pierogi in and around the Hudson valley. If you like pierogi, it's a must try.“
